I read the Unilocal review and called Ivan when we wanted to open up a wall in our house to enlarge our master bedroom. Ivan answered promptly, came out to take a look at the wall. He was careful to check the structural integrity of the house (where supporting walls/​beams are located). Then like the other reviewer said, Ivan mailed me the plans the following week, and we submitted those plans to the city to get a permit. I just mailed Ivan a check. My contractor followed Ivan’s plans and got in touch with Ivan when there were questions. The entire process was very smooth. I would definitely hire Ivan again and recommend his services to others.

I hired Ivan to make structural drawings on a home I was purchasing. We needed stamped drawings from a licensed engineer to apply for the permit, to demonstrate how a column needed to be installed to replace a load bearing wall and open up the floor plan
I’m so glad I choose Ivan! His pricing was great, and he was prompt and professional. What I liked best was that he was cautious, and didn’t give me an answer on anything until he went back to his office to do calculations. He didn’t want to give me the wrong information etc. With this structural stuff it makes me nervous so I was happy he was extremely thorough.
He Had my stamped drawings in the mail within 3 business days. Pretty quick if you ask me!
