AMAZING! I was visiting my best friend for the first time in a few years. I was dying for east coast pizza and this did not disappoint! Hands down the best buffalo chicken pizza I have ever had. Mozzarella sticks were crunchy, hot and tasty too! Can’t wait to get back for more! Estimated delivery was 60 minutes, but it was delivered in less than 30!!!

What happened?! This place used to be fantastic, but not anymore. They screwed up our order a few months ago, so we avoided them for a bit, but decided to give them a 2nd chance, recently. After close to 2 hours we got our order. Delivery guy parked in the middle of the road, after passing our well-lit house twice. We got one sub that was completely incorrect, one that was supposed to be toasted — but still had unmelted, shredded cheese falling out of it, and both were cold, as were the pizzas. The fries were so cold that they were wet with condensation. We called and the manager was like«Oh, the driver’s new. What do you want me to do about it?» I guess the driver made the wrong sub and didn’t properly cook another, too. So rude. No apologies, no attempt to make it up. This place used to bend over backward to make things right. Did they sell to new owners?

Their pizza is wonderful, their sandwiches are pretty good too. Their delivery is fast, I’ve never had a big problem with them. Since we live so close by, I’ve ordered from them 100 times. It’s your typical pizza joint food but they know what they’re doing. Rarely do I have a bad meal.

Long wait last night two foolish kids at cash register nine people working. I will not go here again. Ordered two items one was not ready so they sat the order that was ready in front off me getting cold while I waited for the other. Seems it was a big party by the staff. Hope this place closes.

Meatball sandwich was VERYGOOD. Bread was fresh and the sauce was good as well. Large menu curious to try new items when I return to the area. Food came up quick.

My MIL and I used to order by delivery on a regular basis. Ask the driver as he knows we tip very, very well. One day they delivered a fried fish platter when we ordered a chicken platter(along with other items). I complained on their site and they said they would send out a chicken dinner the next time we ordered. It never happened… no one ever knew about it and played dumb. I hate fish by the way. Well, we stopped by in person tonight to order chicken, broccoli, ziti with cheese. What we got when we opened it up at home was spaghetti, alfredo, cheese and shrimp! I am allergic to shrimp. Well, now you deserve this Unilocal review. Also, the young man behind the counter tonight was actually annoyed at us and was not happy to take our order. The girl behind the counter was too busy being friendly to two, loud and obnoxious customers who hogged the counter and made it impossible to order. This place must be under new management? I didn’t see any Greek people making the food or taking the orders? Good bye Classic Pizza on Hosmer Street! I will tell everyone to avoid you!

I love their chicken salad sub. I get it every time. Their pizza is really good, not too much of anything. The crust is crunchy and delicious. They are always sure to get your order right. They are truly some of the best food around for a pizza place.

They have renovated their shop to be more like a restaurant. The restaurant is always packed when you come in to pick up. They have wine and beer on tap. The delivery wait time is still just as long! At least an hour every single time. The food is still really good and they have some updated menu items. The steak tips dinner with rice is so good. The rice is a Brazilian white rice and they also have Brazilian style brown beans. They also offer a Brazilian style steak dinner that has grilled steak, rice, french fries and salad. The chicken kabobs are NOT kabobs. It is chicken stir fry and when we had it delivered it was on top of french fries not rice. I called them back and they sent an extra order of rice over within 20 minutes but made no apology for it being stir fry instead of kabobs.

My name is Ben, and I am a Leonberger dog. If you don’t know what a Leonberger is, feel free to Google it. My human takes me to Classic Pizza somewhat frequently. He loves it there. As do I. I live about 20 miles away, I have been there a bunch of times. The people are really nice and friendly. My human has not had there pizza yet, but has had quite a few things there. One of his favorites is a Gyro, with extra meat and no tomatoes. Juicy, not dried out, just wicked pissuh. They also make a sub called a Brazilian Burger, that has about everything in it except the kitchen sink. He am willing to try almost anything, so, he figured why not? It was great, he tells me. Of course they won’t let me in, but, when my human walks me after he eats, the owner, Kosta, has brought me out some slices of Roast Beef. I really like that place. My human doesn’t even give me Roast Beef. What’s up with that? Any way, my human and I both highly reccomend Classic Pizza. If you go, tell Kosta, Ina or Rose that Ben the Leonberger dog sent you. Woooooooooooofffff

Not a fan, don’t think I ever will be. Lets start out with this, Classic Pizza is less than 1⁄10 a mile from Sal’s, so that’s some stiff competition to begin with. We tried CP1st when we moved to the area. it was the cloestest pizza place so it got 1st shot(see my chineese food reviews for another example). Like most 1st shot places, it fell short of what we were looking for. The price was right, the size was acceptiable, the flavor was ok the after effects on the digestive system are not worth experienceing again. My stomic can handle most food, but just the idea of CP’s pizza again rolling around in my stomic is making me sick thinking about it now. So why 2 stars, I enjoied my time in there. I went into CP and ordered a large cheese in person. I talked to the people behind the counter while waiting, and had a good conversation. I know what M.R.‘s talking about, there were way too many people behind the counter for the amount of food that was comming out.

Classic Pizza is nothing more than your average town pizza joint. However, don’t take this to be a bad thing. The pizza at Classic Pizza is not the best item on the menu. There are a plethora of other pizza joints where you can find better pizza nearby. Their platters, salads and pasta dishes are where the quality is found. With reasonable pricing and a Man vs Food size helping, how can you turn it down? Each time I go to pick-up my order, two odd things stand out. One qualm is the wait. I will have waited the appropriate time before arriving, but each time I go I am told to wait another five minutes. I feel like this is a cheap ploy at swindling me into buying an extra drink or ice-cream type novelty. Second, the place is always over-staffed by at least three people. So why do I have to wait if everyone is standing around? Although expectedly overpriced, there are beer options for you bottle booting types. How else can you properly eat a shaved steak sub? Few things get me salty like over-staffing and longer wait issues, but these are minor when considering the consistent quality of the food.
