Goodman Jack Orchestras & D J’s

I was married in April 2008, We went with Jack Goodman on a recommendation. We met with him directly on a Sunday morning to discuss packages. My 1^st instinct was to not use him, but my wife felt comfortable with him, I just didn’t get a great vibe. The entire time he would constantly talk about how long he has been in the music business, and how great he thought he was. How he has worked small events to large events. We ended up getting a band and a Dj from him. We were 1^st told that he would be at our wedding, but there was a small chance he might not, but a more than qualified person would be. Well our wedding day comes, 1^st Jack wasn’t there. Whoever the person was that was doing the coordinating that day was the worst. At 1^st there was an issue with my new father in law giving his speech before introductions, but I am blaming my father in law for that interruption. The MC who was in charge was so dry and boring. As my cocktail hour is going on, he pulls my wife and I aside to go over the names of the people that will be introduced. 30 minutes later, he finishes. The only names he got in order when we were announced were my wife and myself. I am gonna say this should have been all taken care of before hand. I asked the DJ for freestyle music from the early 90’s, looked at me as I was speaking another language. Numerous times during the band playing was constant feedback from the speakers. So my wedding ends. The next day I received a phone call from several people that the DJs staff was taking cell phone pictures of the women on the dance floor. I called Goodman’s office, and spoke to a women, I gave her a list of my complaints. She called back with excuse after excuse. There was one phone conversation in particular that I remember going back and forth with this women (never Jack), about the problem, best part was I am sure he was sitting right next to her. I was told feedback from the speakers happens. Then I questioned the cell phone pictures, This was the best excuse they gave me, they said «Oh yeah, they take pictures and we put them on out website. I have yet to see those pictures on his site. Overall I would not recommend this company.
