I am overall disappointed with Applebee’s seeming decline in value for the $$. Their prices go up and portions get smaller. This particular visit fit right in with that trend. Service was ‘meh’. She was nice, but seemed scatter-brained and we had to remind her a few times about things. Applebee’s doesn’t deliver up to the standard like it used to.

Not a good experience. Waitress too busy to care. Food burned and otherwise tasteless. Seating was uncomfortable.

My boyfriend and I visited this location for a late-ish weeknight dinner. It may just be my impression but the Applebee’s brand of ambiance can sometimes feel overly casual despite apparent efforts to improve food quality(and raise prices). For example, there were a number of uncleared tables surrounding us. They did, however, clean them during our stay. Our server was friendly and anticipated our needs. No issues there. The new menu options made the decision difficult, but our entrées were surprisingly good. My fried fish was hot and crispy as were the fries. The colslaw was alright. His chicken fajita wrap with sweet potato fries really hit the spot. Perhaps another visit will be in order.

Consistently mediocre! Thera a certain level of comfort in choosing Applebee’s. I am long past being disappointed because I know what to expect. The happy hour is decent, half price appetizers, which makes one much more willing to accept the mediocrity. Cheers!

Have been here 3 times in the last 4 weeks(November/December 2014) and have had to have my order sent back every time because of it being wrong when it arrived(salad with no grilled chicken, and sandwich with no cheese). The pretzel bits desert were quite tasty though. But overall with 3 times and 3 strikes, I’ll pass from now on.

I tried their wedge salad with bleu cheese and bacon(okay, but not great) and their grilled cheese sandwich. The grilled cheese comes with a cup of tomato soup, and it is delicious! I tried a few of my husband’s pretzels with beer cheese, and they were surprisingly good(I’ve had better beer cheese). Our server was nice, and he worked hard to keep our drinks full. I’m not usually a huge fan of applebees, but I do like some of their newer menu items.

I want to start off by making a comment about the other reviews. Although Applebee’s is not the greatest place on earth this is America and you were being fed food that you don’t grow yourself; on top of that you didn’t even cook it and it’s not even basic food: it has spices and sauces that are engineered to please you, so if you want to criticize a place that employs people in a local economy that is struggling, I support your right to express your freedom of speech. With that said, here is my review: Meal(****): I was given the highlight entrée card with the showcased meals. I didn’t even give myself time to think after I saw the Bourbon Street and shrimp platter. Chicken was Charred and the shrimp was also cooked on a grill. The seasonings were different but pleasing, and the chicken was juicy and not dry. Ambience(***): The crowd was a little thin at lunch especially for a weekday, and a later lunch at that. I was surprised at the amount of people who were there though. It felt strange being in a party invoking environment to hear such serious conversations. Service(****): Our waitress was on the top of her game. She was very accommodating, kept our drinks filled, and her hospitality skills were amazing.

Great service, new menu and restaurant upgrade. Recommend for families with small kids. We were traveling back michigan and needed a quick and healthy bite to eat. Read the reviews and saw negative. More the reason for me to comment. Highly recommend.

The food was no better or worse than any Applebee’s, Chili’s, Ruby Tuesday, etc. that I’ve been to, but the service and kitchen speed were much slower than average. Aside from that, it was very average.

Worst. Service. Ever. Sat there for ten minutes and no one even looked at us. Do not go there.

AVOIDATALLCOST. If i could give a zero stars or better yet a minus stars I would. service is horrible. food is horrible. plates and silverware were filthy. first time i’ve been there in two years because the last time it was so bad the manager came to my house to give me a $ 50 gift card. my wife talked me into trying them again. even worse then before. rude help. bad food. took an hour+ to get two salads and two«happy hour» appetizers. my wife had to send two salads back. first one because the plate was filthy and second one because the lettuce was wilted and rusty. no way that should have left the kitchen. to add insult to injury, the manager comes over and offers and excuse about a new guy in the kitchen. i hate excuses. that’s not my problem. appologize, take care of the problem and go away. don’t stand there trying to justify why your restaurant is lousy. that makes no sense at all. she comped our meal. she also had to comp the people behind us who weren’t nearly as nice about it as we were. that’s it. i’m finished with Applebees. never again. never. ANDNO, Applebees, I do not want contacted by you. I don’t want anything free. I don’t want to hear from your or bother with you again. Thank you.

It’s a game of roulette as consistency is hard to find. Even the servers seen to span the gambit from perfectly pleasant to down right hateful.

Better than McDonalds. Eat somewhere else, preferably someplace owned by someone who lives in the area, like the Tin Duck, the Warehouse, or House of Hunan.
