I dropped of a printer under warranty and everything went great. Now when I took my second printer for repair, a non warranty printer, I was given a drop off receipt with no mention of prices or terms and conditions. They called me a week later and notified me the printer needed ink. I authorized them to buy in for $ 15.00 and waited to hear back. A week passed and they called me and notified me that it was not worth it to fix it because the part caused $ 300.00 and recommended me to buy another one. I didn’t pick up for two weeks and received an invoice for almost $ 100.00 I explained to the Gentleman that came to my place of business that never was there an agreement of fees explained or on the drop off tag they gave me. I was told that they would give me a call with an idea of price once the tech looked at it. Now my printer is being held and they are telling me I must pay the $ 100.00 or face a disposal fee of $ 35.00. Fees and Charges are OK as long as a business discloses and explains them. This could of been avoided if they followed their own procedures as admitted by the Gentlemen that visited me.

I had called DocuTec to service my office printer once I noticed it was producing«dirty» copies for the better part of two weeks. I called DocuTec to service the printer and they serviced the printer in a prompt and friendly fashion. John, who I believe to be one of technicians there, was fast and did his work in a non-invasive fashion.
