If you’re in the Marina Del Rey/Playa Del Rey area and looking for a preeminent seafood continental dining experience, you can’t go wrong with Tony P’s. The menu is well balanced with both land and sea options and the dockside seating view really puts this place over the top. Louisiana spicy mussels appetizers and stuffed tilapia was my course and it didn’t disappoint. Tip: parking is tricky along this stretch of road on Admiralty Way so expect to valet or get creative or arrive early.

Service is terrible. No water is offered. Waiter doesn’t even come till I asked for one. Food was terrible(ordered a stir fry which was more like soaked rice/veggies). Thank God for sriracha and tapatio I was able to eat the veggies. The food looked like it was from yesterday’s leftovers. Drink was terrible too(ordered a caliente margarita). I love spicy food and can take the hot jalapeños taste. But this drink was just disgusting. I left it after a few sips. Even though I ordered drink and food together, I got my drink midway through my food. Terrible. Not once did the waiter come back to ask if my food was ok. Not once was my drink refilled. Will never come back. Other than the view and outdoor seating this place is a total waste.

This review is mainly to thank your server JESSICA for all her hard work yesterday. So happy I had reservations because the ENTIRE restaurant was packed for Fathers Day~ JESSICA was handling SO many tables and 87078 requests and yet she handled it seamlessly and made sure my father and I had a wonderful dinner. Food arrived on time and hot, drinks were fabulous and it was a wonderful day. Thanks again!

Let me start off by saying that they have NACHOS! Fear not, they’re not on the menu but you can ask! The French onion soup was good and the nachos were so yummy! Robert and Jesse were really cool waiters. We were a really needy table and they were patient and friendly and very on top of water refills.

3.5 stars: A nice casual spot with wonderful view of the marina for group gatherings. Food is sadly mediocre. The good: — The patio is so spacious and covered, perfect for those windy days when you want to enjoy the sun but don’t want hair blowing in your face while eating… — Drink selection is HUGE. Their beverage menu is like a mini novel. I ended up picking the white sangria with peach — light, refreshing, not too sweet. Also had a sip of my friend’s Belgian beer(Delirium Tremens) which was surprisingly good. — Extremely friendly service. Food as I mentioned was disappointing. We had many appetizers to share of which I enjoyed 2(quesadilla and Tony P’s pizza). Details are followed: — Calamari: rubbery and not at all crispy — Seafood guac: similar to ceviche, fresh but lack in flavor — Pulled pork quesadilla: this was decent, tasy and rich BBQ sauce — Ahi tuna sliders: meh — Stuffed mushrooms: a bit too greasy — Tony P’s pizza: pure comfort food, a nice medium crust that is neither too thick nor thin I’d come back for drinks but you can get much better food elsewhere in the neighborhood.

Leaving LA in 4 hours. Had lunch here just to have something to eat prior to flight back to Hawaii. Tony P’s in Marina del rey for lunch, good choice. Had Seafood Pasta and it was very good. Seafood was nice and tender, not over cooked.

Horrible food and service. Went there today for brunch. We hardy saw our server. We ordered the Turkey Sandwich and the scramble with mushrooms and spinach. The scramble was watery and the turkey was mediocre at best. Even the bread was cold. One of the servers had very short shorts on which was not in line with the format of this restaurant. Every time she walked around there wasn’t much left to the imagination.

Great service and delicious food at a reasonable price. We had the stuffed tilapia with shrimp and crab it was very moist and delicious and also the flat steak with crab legs all was so good. Great desserts I love the mini peach cobbler.

Breakfast review: not bad, better then Dennys, IHOP etc… bigger portions. I had the«no bone chicken» hash. Recommended by the server however not that impressed. It was tasty but a smaller portion than expected. Looked like a scramble on top of some sparse potatoes with chicken nuggets and buffalo sauce. Service was ok. Breakfast is served on the weekends. What I really liked was the location. Nice view of the marina and not crowded. If you want a decent breakfast, walk in and a view this is the place.

5 starts for the Clam Chowder. It was is SO good! Be sure to order it when you go there. Great views from their outside patio(and it’s enclosed by a clear tent, which I appreciate). Same goes for the service. The prices are on the higher side, around $ 22 – 26 for a fish entrée with 2 sides. I ordered the seabass and it was very bland. I opted for the sauce on the side because I don’t always like my fish drowning in sauce. Sauce was bland too. Wish I had just gotten a big bowl of clam chowder. I would have been pleased and saved lots of money~

This place is right on the water. The food here is great and the service is even greater. I have been coming here for years now and have never been dissatisfied. Literally everything on the menu is delicious. I usually start off with a spicy chicken or pork quesadilla. Can’t go wrong with either of the two. Next, I like to order the blackened Cajun Chicken Pasta. If you really want to get freaky add shrimp. The salmon Alfredo pasta is also a popular meal on the menu. I usually get that when I want to be fancy, and of course I add shrimp to that dish as well. Don’t forget to order a little something from the cocktail menu. They have everything you would want on tap and the mixed drinks are strong! I come to Tony P’s for all occasions. Whether I’m catching a game solo in the bar, with my girlfriend dining on the patio, or with a group of friends getting together, this place is it. I love this place!

I’ve been here many times. Here’s the thing, its not going to be the best food you have ever had in the world, but its solid. The large portions are a little reminiscent of a chain restaurant, but better quality. The place is just a good spot that is large enough to get a table and diverse enough to satisfy a group. The employees are all very friendly and professional. Its got great views of the marina and a big sports bar area that is great for watching games. The beer menu is huge. They have a parking lot, but sometimes only offer valet which is annoying.(I think they only do valet on weekends)

Really great spot. We were exploring the marina last weekend and let the little guy run around at Burton W Chace park. There were people BBQ’ing and it was cool to see the boats. Another family was setting up a birthday party at one of the big patios. It was a nice day so we decided to find somewhere to eat outside. A lot of the places were mega-crowded, but Tony P’s is big enough to handle the overload. Definitely a great spot for families too, as they give the kids these little bags of toys when you’re seated. Great food, nice service, easy parking and a really nice covered patio. Looks like a popular Happy Hour joint too.

Meh. I’d leave my review at that, but Unilocal doesn’t allow one word reviews. But seriously. I’m not sure why this place is still in business because it serves up some pretty bland food, or perhaps it’s just bland to me, because I have to modify menu items? Some of the other people in the party seemed to enjoy their food: i.e.- fish & chips, quesadilla… But otherwise, I heard no comments about how this food was life changing. I wasn’t a fan before… Aside from the edamame, which delivered taste for sure… And I am definitely still not really a fan. I will not be going back. If you’re looking for a family friendly spot, and you don’t really care about good food, then sure, come here.(They gave the kids at the table crayons and toys to play with).

If you looked up «sports bar» on the dictionary, Tony P’s is textbook. Dark but not dank, mood-lit like a pool hall but not all gloomy, the ambiance is right on. The happy hour is great, and you get a huge platter of mussels in a sharp and surprisingly good tomato sauce for half price. And this platter is a good deal even at full price! The various discounts of well drinks is another perk to take full advantage of, and their beer selection is pretty robust. They have a patio too if you want outdoor dining with a view of the harbor, and either way, you can’t complain!

Service is fabulous, friendly and fun! I’ve been in both the private room(really secluded but wish it were closer to the water) The view is phenomenal which normally means the food doesn’t have to be super good. It’s probably hit and miss with some dishes but don’t miss THEBEST hush puppies on the planet! Served with their BBQ pulled pork I’ve never had better ones… chunks of corn, green onion, & jalapeño served crispy and piping hot. Yum! Fish and chips are great as well. The fried chicken salad was a miss… Bland and doused in too much rich dressing. I appreciate them having bite sized desserts for sure as their portion sizes are quite large. I’ll be back to try Happy Hour!

A nice spot for lunch or Happy Hour ! Great view or the harbor. It’s an indoor seating with an outside feel. The food was all really exceptional and service was awesome! I highly recommend this place if you’re in the area. The Happy hour menu is $ 7 and the portions are good. HH is from 3 – 6 I think. My suggestions would be the Ahi sliders, nachos, and seafood Guac.

Tony P’s is perfect for large groups at lunch and day drinking! Great beer collection and massive food portions! Not be mention the wonderful views of the Marina and friendly and efficient service. They also boast to have the best Bloody Mary and they do! It’s absolutely massive and perfectly spiced! Cheers!

A very cute place to sit by the water and watch the boats. I always opt to sit outside near the water. There was a hair in my plate last time, but you win some you lose some. The waiter immediately replaced my plate which is always nice. After my meal, I ordered a dessert it was so hot the glass that the dessert came in broke into my food. The waiter asked«What did I do?» Oh you know me, I like to go around breaking glass at restaurants. We got a good laugh out of it. I like the split crab. All in all check it out and let me know what you think!
