I had been looking for a new piano teacher for my daughters, ages 7 & 8. The girls warmed up to Sim very easily and enjoyed their first meeting so much, we signed up for weekly lessons. She’s very patient and professional. She immediately assessed the girls, assigned material and got them started on their respective levels. So excited the girls are getting experience with an amazing piano and teacher!

Sim is such a pleasure to work with she is such a great pianist, excellent teacher! How can’t you sign up for a class after seeing the gorgeous baby grand, along with an amazing Marina view? I totally recommend her! Her classes are also very fun, the time passes so fast and she is very generous with her time.

My daughter loved her first class with Sim so much that we signed up for a series of 10 sessions after taking the first one! Sim is great with kids. My daughter is 4 ½ and didn’t lose her attention span in a 45 minute session.
I highly recommend Sim to anyone who is looking to learn how to play piano, especially children. Plus, Sim has a fantastic baby grand piano that just fascinated my daughter.

Sim is great. She taught my 9-​year old daughter piano lessons for a while. Sim has a great personality and knows how to engage her students to learn and have fun. Unfortunately, we moved and we haven’t been able to find a teacher as qualified as Sim since :(I highly recommend her.

I found Sim on Unilocal from all the awesome reviews. I love that she is so patient, and always comes up with creative ways to help me memorize and understand the piece of music that I’m playing. As an adult, learning and memorizing something new is not easy for me, so appreciate her patience and creativity to make this process more fun and easy. Definitely recommend!

I used to take piano classes long time ago! I always wanted to have a chance to continue! I found Sim on Unilocal!She is pretty close to where I live. I booked with her my first piano class after all these years! I was very excited! She is awesome! She is an amazing teacher and a great pianist! Her studio in the Marina with a gorgeous view! I could not pay attention because of the beauty of the view haha! I learnt and remembered a lot! We had a fun class! I can’t wait to book again and get more lessons! Plus you get a free Starbucks coffee!!! Great!

I took piano lessons when I was a kid, not my choice and the instructor knew I was there just because my Japanese mom felt it was important for me to learn. Well, I ended up playing journey, Chicago and footloose. So you know the era that I grew up in. Haa!
As the years pass by and you go to the fancy restaurants where they have a piano player playing these romantic tunes or jazz, you wish you listened to your mom and learned the right way. So, looked up Unilocal and found simr. She was thorough and also was patient. I don’t have ADD, but sitting on a backless chair becomes a bit ansy for a bit after awhile, but it’s been very pleasant to see my improvement, since I still remember my childhood training. Not sure how far I’m planning to go, I’m no Mozart or Chopin, but I can play a killer Journey of open arms next time I pass by a piano!
