If i could give this guy a zero I would. I had install a satellite system on my boat. He started it never finished it. He is a major drunk. Don’t ever use this guy. He left his ladder on my boat and he actually came to pick it up one night at 12 am He started job never finished.

If I could give a zero, I would. This is the first in a string of boat electroincs guys I was referred to by West marine to work on my Cal 34 sailboat. The guy insisted on being paid cash up front (like the rest), did a bunch of stuff I never asked to be fixed but not the stuff I wanted done, and would work a half day, then disappear for weeks with everything apart. He’d complain that it was too hot to work in the cockpit and couldn’t even touch his tools, and would be gone by noon.
I put up a tarp over the cockpit and it didn’t matter. Weeks later my son arrived from Canada to sail with me for the holidays, and the boat was still apart and parts everywhere. I couldn’t even take the boat out for a day sail, let alone take him to Catalina like I planned. He’d promise to be there and not show up. This happened several times. A 3 day job turned into a nightmare. When I called him a couple of times and he answered, he was super drunk, and this was early in the evening. I suspect this was a regular thing. I finally gave up on him and hired someone else. More on that in the next review.
