Always a fan of Peets. Personally I think it is far better than Starbucks. For folks who haven’t tried yet, I suggest tasting their Mocha Java. A delight to your lips and a sweet fragrance to your nose. Dare I say more?!

The coffee is very good for a corporate chain. But the coffee shop is tiny and crowded on busy time and days. Parking is hard to obtain during busy rush hour. Not a good place to use wifi, due to lack of tables and small confine space. Other than that, service is good and the drinks are good.

Had a court hearing this morning and wanted to relieve my stress by drinking a Caramel Macchiato. I walked into Peet’s and asked the cashier if they had milk substitutions and she said yes. I told her it was my first time in a Peet’s Coffee location and they gave me my drink on the house. Thank you lady baristas for providing me with exceptional customer service. You rock!

I’ve been coming to this Peets for a few years now. This morning I felt compelled to write this review. They were short staffed; somebody was sick. The two girls running an extremely busy counter greeted everybody who came in with a «good morning!», hollered«we’re just two people this morning guys» and everybody in line smiled back. The Peets in Brentwood on San Vicente need to come in and see how these two lovelies run the show. Peets! You need to give them a bonus, what they are doing this morning is customer service at it’s best.

I don’t really drink coffee. But when I do it’s Peet’s Coffee!

Grossly Under staffed at 6am to 7 am. One person taking orders and one barista not nearly enough to service the area. I stop here now and then for my beans and morning coffee and treat and today I placed my order, got my free small coffee and went to foo-foo it with cream(the creamer bar didn’t have any cinnamon or cocoa powder either) and had to go back to the register looking for my beans. He hadn’t even ground them yet but was taking other people’s orders! Not cool. Isn’t it first come first served? I was there before the other 6 people who came in after me so I should have not had to wait longer and some of them were out the door before me Please staff your restaurant. I love Pete’s & prefer your coffee and drink it at home but having an inefficient store like this will drive me around the corner to Coffee Bean where the wait is minimal and you are serviced when you place your order. Update 12:35 pm — Just opened my fruit and cheese box that I purchased this morning for my lunch today and there is a gnarly black hair stuck to my cheese! GROSS. I’m a blonde so it didn’t fall out of my head. Now I’m going without lunch. Nice. This is a quality control issue. Please fix this store.

Hmm… Not happy with my last visit. I came in with my laptop to spend an hour or so but there were very few tables(5 only: 42-top and 14-top) and all were taken. There were 3 guys standing by the counter chatting away and I wasn’t sure if they were actually in line or just talking in the middle of the store. When I asked politely if they are in line, this one guy turned around and rudely said«YEAH». Ugh… come down your high horses, pal! Oh and that same guy asked at the pastries displays what a Kouigh Aman is. I had to stop from bursting into a laugh. How clueless on top of being a not so nice person. I ordered my caramel macchiato. However the guy who took my order walked away to the other end of the counter and started making drinks. I thought oh he’s efficient. Actually from it. When another gal showed up behind the counter, he tossed me off to her and I had to repeat my order to her again. When I finally got my drink, I couldn’t wait to get out of there. After dealing with rude patrons and couldn’t care less staff treatment, imagine my despair when I took a sip of my Caramel Macchiato and it tasted completely burnt. Yikes! By then I was already driving off and I simply had no desire to deal with any more of this after a long day and fighting a cold. I had to toss the drink away. And paid for another well made and tasty hot macchiato at my other favorite coffee shop. This experience completely shocked me ‘coz I had stellar service before. But staff must have changed or I caught them on a bad day. I’ll avoid this Peet’s at all coat from here on…

One of the best places to get coffee. It even beats Starbucks. Great service, good coffee and delicious pastries.

I had a great experience at this location. I am a vegan, which makes breakfast foods very difficult. I had a great customer service interaction with a blond girl whose name I can’t pronounce.

I was really frustrated how loud it was in there. I was trying very hard to hear someone talking right in front of me and couldn’t. The ceilings are too high and makes it VERY noisy inside.

I popped into this Peet’s to grab some tea and chill for a bit while my dog was getting groomed. I usually don’t bother writing reviews for chain coffee shops since the drinks/food are pretty standard, but the employees at this location are super chill, friendly people. Oddly enough so are the other customers. I switched tables with a lady who needed to use the outlet and she like, smiled and me and was genuinely grateful. What’s up with that? Anyway, definitely recommend this Peets as a nice place to sit for a while and read/study/wait for your dog to get a facial.

Meh… Peet’s definitely doesn’t have the best quality coffee… The lot here is massive which is a huge plus. It’s free too, another plus. The service is pretty bad at this location and there are about 5 tables inside. It’s not a whole lot of space for people to come and study. I wouldn’t recommend studying there, but if you’re within the plaza area already and really need coffee, then grab and go.

Peet’s makes the best coffee of any chain. By far… this particular location opens at 5AM. that’s a really nice feature. the downside is that I’ve been going there twice a week for over a year and still don’t feel like a regular. My local Coffee Bean gives me a much warmer greeting. But, they open @ 5:30 so, on many days, Peet’s wins!

Good service from the peeps at Peet’s. They forgot to make a drink and comped one on us. The dude at the counter seemed to know the names of the regulars and greeted them by name. The location is good with ample parking and the store is big enough to accommodate the rush of people during the Javiva happy hour when they are 50% off. Speaking of Javivas, they are good and taste better than Starbucks frapuccino’s in my opinion. Chill friendly service and great drinks gets a fiver from me.

Great coffee for one of the bigger chains. We tried the Javiva — mocha coffee with almond milk blended and it tasted like a milkshake. I don’t know how many calories it has but it was worth it after a two hour Stand Up Paddle Board work out. I also like their drip coffee. Even the small size wakes me up.

Mostly Friendly Staff. Sort of Hit or Miss. They either know your name or can Give a S. if you are there… The coffee is great except that they leave something out about 85 percent of the time and no joke Im a regular !!! The people who are warm and nice make it worth coming back to. Usually a line in the AM. They do carry Almond milk which is amazing!

Love this place. Coffee shop is very small and quaint but the coffee is so much better than Starbucks, which in my opinion is always burned and it hurts my stomach. I’m a big fan of the holiday yummies like the Pumpkin or Hazelnut Cinnamon.
