I have been getting my biweekly cut from Steve since 2012… He’s as good as it gets! His new shop is super clean, and he makes sure you’re comfortable with a beverage, music, and/​or a movie while you’re in his chair. He can give you solid recommendations if you ever want to switch it up, and he’s an expert in consistency once you figure out what cut you’re comfortable with. On top of it all, he’s super flexible in terms of scheduling and will do everything he can to fit you in his schedule. Make the easy choice and see him up at the Phenix Salon Suites in MDR.

He is located inside the Phoenix Salon Suites in the newly remodeled Marina Del Rey Mall, on the second level right on top of Yardhouse and right next to RA. He’s in Suite #114.
Some back story: It took me over a year to find a barber that knew how to cut hair and cut hair right. I have very thick hair, and a lot of hair, which requires someone with extensive barber experience to cut, clipper, and trim the hair so that it looks good without looking choppy or uneven.
Steve knows what he is doing and does it very well. I’m extremely meticulous about my hair, since it is sitting on head for the world to see, and every time Steve cuts my hair with precision and perfection. I have never left upset or unhappy with my haircut from him.
He’s a supercool guy and easy to get along with and more importantly comes highly recommended as a great barber!

I have been using Steve as my barber for almost 3 years now after going from hair place to hair place leaving unsatisfied for 6 years. STEVE HAS NEVER let me down. Great, well priced haircut with a touch of traditional using the straight blade razor. Steve now cuts all my friends hair from short to long.
Side note: Steve offers an alcoholic beverage and a movie while you get your haircut. Beard trim and face shave is deluxe.

I been following Steve around since 2012. He recently moved his business to Marina Del Rey inside the Phenix Suites. Everyone inside has their own personal suite. His suite is #114.
Steve is friendly, laid back kind of guy. He offers a cold drink and I watch tv while he’s cutting my hair. He’s confident in his abilities and takes his time. He’s good with clipper cuts and he uses straight razors for my shaves and my line ups. I’m a satisfied customer. Thank you again.
