This review is actually way past due. I stopped in a for a basic pedicure on Saturday around noon. The place was very busy. The one English speaking tech /greeter was brusque when she asked what I wanted.(She was giving another patron a pedicure.) I asked if anyone had time to do a pedicure. She said yes, then ordered a nearby tech to prepare my water. She shouted(not speaking English) and a petulant looking young lady(let’s call her Angry Anna) came from the back, took one look at me and turned then walked towards the back again. Another tech came over and gestured for me to soak my feet. About 14 minutes later, another customer arrived for eyebrow waxing. Greeter shouted to back again(not speaking in English). Angry Anna comes from back and takes eyebrow wax customer into side room. I politely eased my feet out of the water, slipped them into my flip-flops(thank goodness they were lined with they velour type fabric) and left.

I been coming here for years. And these are the reason. I have never met a rude employee Timmy and Nanni does the best job on my nails PERIOD. THEYAREVERYVERYCLEAN. His wife use to do mu eyebrows until i realized I was allergic to wax so I had to stop but she does the best job EVER. I use to drive from Decatur just to get my nails done here. Just amazing service and quality services. I went to another shop paid they did an awful job in kennesaw. I came back across town to have them fix the mess someone else made, so they stuck with me from here out

Finding a nail salon open on Independence Day was harder than I expected. Thankfully, I noticed the open sign on TJ Nail & Spa after grabbing a doughnut next door at Dev’s. Not only were they open, they had several technicians free, and I was able to be seated in a massage-y pedicure chair within seconds of walking in. The color selection was a bit lacking, with mostly China Glaze polishes, a few OPI, and a handful of random Essie colors. Heavy on the reds, and light on the pinks(which is my preferred shade), but I was able to find one I liked. I was presented with a menu of pedicure options, with the prices and included services clearly listed. Though after making my selection of the basic spa pedicure(the cheapest option at $ 18) the technician tried to upsell me, I stuck to my initial choice, and I was glad I did. It included the standard foot soak, nail shaping, cuticle trim, callus removal, and polish application. All tools came from an individual sterilized bag, and the salon overall was very clean. The technician did a very thorough job, as I read my kindle in peace. Since my strappy sandals would have messed up the polish, she gave me a pair of flip flops for free, which I appreciated as the sign said they would cost $ 2. Also appreciated is the fact that you can tip on your credit card, which is a rarity at most nail salons. While I’m almost never in this area of Marietta, I wouldn’t hesitate to stop by again.
