I just graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science in May. I’m sad to see this school become Kennesaw because I feel the value of it will slowly dwindle. I received a top notch education while at this school. I not only learned the basis and foundation of foreign governments and their policies, but attained technical skills such as usage of SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) and Multivariate Statistics. I walked away knowing I could take these skills into the real world with me and that I would be able to find a job. Thank you SPSU!

Great campus with a great library. Not as crazy busy like KSU. So I enjoy classes and the facilities here much more.

I’m a recent graduate of SPSU’s MSIT program (⁵⁄₂₀₁₄). With the MSIT program offering it’s courses both on campus and online I was able to complete my program without having to physically go to class so I cannot comment much on the campus life. However, I feel as though I received a great education from SPSU. Taking courses online is definitely not easy, but my professors made it less complicated. I feel that I received the same education and attention as those physically in class. The professors were always quick to respond to emails, especially during their office hours. My favorite professor was Dr. Rich. I took 3 courses with him and he holds «Google Hangout» sessions for online students so it’s like being there in class but from the comfort of your home or wherever else you choose to be. I didn’t realize how small SPSU was until the graduation ceremony but that is probably a positive when it comes to professor to student ratio. Overall, I have nothing bad to say about SPSU… well except of course that «KSU-​SPSU» merger. It seems like it would have made more sense to merge with GT but I guess geographically KSU makes more sense. *shrugs* Doesn’t matter much to me now because I have my diploma with SPSU on it.

Can’t wait until KSU takes over. Hopefully they get rid of everyone involved in housing first then stingers but leave the engineering department alone. Honestly the teachers are great but most everything else is run very poorly.

Great school in general! Despite the terrible housing administration, and everything being located in Marietta, of all places, it’s pretty wonderful! The food isn’t too bad, but there aren’t too many places to eat, and the professors are very professional. Much better than my last school (Gordon College, yuck).
The school went through a lot of renovations and expansions back in 2010/​11, and it’s still growing, so expect the place to always be under construction with the KSU merger.

SPSU is only the best school ever. I graduated in 2005, so I’m not sure how much things have changed. The tuition was manageable, the class sizes were pretty small, and the campus is nice.
Professors genuinely seem to care about your success and several of the techniques learned in upper level Biology/​Chemistry courses were beneficial when it came to finding a job post-​graduation. I was also accepted into a fairly selective graduate program at UGA. That’s really what matters — will this education give me an advantage over other applicants either for a job or to continue my education? The answer was ‘yes’ for both.

Nice small sized school. Here for a Duke TIP ceremony for my 7^th grader, not to attend classes. Easy go get around thanks to good signs.

My boyfriend attends this university, and I remember the first time I ever came here, I thought it was my old high school. The school is definitely smaller than the average state universities, but it’s fairly a new school, and it’s not a school that I could compare with to UGA or GSU.
They recently got new on campus housing, and some of the building are very up to date.
They also give students key cards which give them access to computer rooms, lab rooms, and all other sorts of rooms.
I’ve sat in on a few classes, and the instructors are very nice as well, although some lack proficient English.
Overall, it’s a great school to go too and I’ve never heard complaints of financial aid messing up, or the school overcharging, or whatnot. Definitely loads cheaper than most other schools.
Also, for parking, if you’re a student who forgot your permit, they offer temporary 2 week parking permits if you want to park at the deck, otherwise, they do have visitor parking lots, so you can luck out of the $ 25 parking fine.

My GOD. I have been looking for study partners and finally found a descent bunch. the problem? One lives in Canton, so we had to find a middle ground to study, and Bookstores and coffee shops were not doing it for me. So we found this Gem. great study rooms and free visitor parking makes this place a fantastic place for medical students! Opens 8 – 10 M-​Thurs, 8 – 6 Friday, and 1−8pm on Sunday CLOSED Saturday
NOTE: My friend got a parking ticket today. 25 bucks. do to the fact she didn’t get a visitor’s parkng sticker. they can give you one for lik 3 weeks but you gotta go and ask for one. I lucked out and didn’t get one. LUCKY ME!
