I really wanted to like this place. It opened right down the street from me and I was aching for a hip, casual coffeehouse in the area(East Cobb isn’t exactly the artsiest part of town). In the end, though, I found my experience there to be rather disappointing. I visited a few months after the initial opening of this location(I believe there used to be a location in Roswell, but I’m not sure). I had glanced at their website beforehand and I was expecting the place to have a bohemian feel to it; instead, the walls were mostly bare and there was little décor. I would have loved for it to have a little more character. Still, I was willing to give it a shot. Things only got worse, though: the first two drinks my sister tried to order were unavailable because various pieces of their equipment were not working. I myself ordered a smoothie, and after waiting a good 10 – 15 minutes, the flavor I was finally given was not the one I had ordered. I didn’t have another 15 minutes to wait for them to make a new drink, so I just took the one I was given. The smoothie itself was too icy and thick for my taste(close to impossible to drink through a straw), but it tasted fine. I would like to think that I just visited on an off-day – especially since the man working behind the counter was so friendly and nice – and while I would be willing to give this place another shot, I haven’t been inspired to stop by again. I didn’t get a chance to try their food(they have a full lunch menu), but I wasn’t thrilled by my drink and the service was too slow for me to go running back.
