The WOW-factor slaps you in the face the moment you walk into the time-warp of a soda fountain shop and museum. A short walk across the old B&O railroad bridge from downtown. Tons of delightful memorabilia and a nice gift store. I had the ice cream sundae… YUM! Make sure this is on your list of places to visit!

Americana. soda shop. coke and apple pie. The shop is a museum of Coca-Cola memorabilia. There is also neon art signs displayed throughout the restaurant. If you are visiting Harmar Village it is a great place to stop. The service is very good and the staff is charming.

This is my favorite lunch spot in Marietta. The Big Club is great and the service is great. Peewee and his team are terrific. They always makes you feel special and I love the old style jukebox with the«oldies» playing. This is a MUST when visiting Marietta or even for those of us who live in the area!

Here’s another place tucked away in Harmar District(Harmar Village? Seeing it both ways). And here’s my Harmar broken record: «…and is easily accessible from downtown Marietta by the pedestrian-only Harmar Rail-Trail Muskigum River Bridge(I recommend it)) or the Putnam Street Bridge(via car-not a lot of parking.) « You’ll find a: * Kitchen, that serves lunch(place reeked of bacon Sunday morning). I didn’t explore the menu for I just ate breakfast around the corner and had eaten too much(bacon smell was working on me) * Retail shop that sells Coke merch * Free museum that features Coke products, including… well, everything Coke made and put their logo on. Pretty interesting * Sidewalk café(didn’t experience but was told about it-too cold outside) * 1950’s soda fountain with stools(where you can eat your food, shakes, sodas, Coke floats, etc) …and all this is found in one location, so yes, it gets a little tight. Even though it’s called a «Soda Museum» the vast majority of items are in fact Coca-Cola. So, if you have any relatives of friends who love Coke and Coca-Cola collectibles(like I do) this is the holy land. All are welcome.

Great little place hidden away in Harman Village. From downtown Marietta walk over the old railroad trestle(now pedestrian walkway) and you’ll find yourself in the quaint area called Harman Village. Across the street from the train which doubles as a toy store is the Marietta Soda Museum and Soda Fountain. this place is so cool! You feel transported into the 1950s in this authentic soda shop. They make everything 1950’s style, ice cream soda, milkshakes with real ice cream, sundaes etc. There is also a «museum» display with vintage Coca-cola and other soda memorabilia. So good I look forward to returning for another milkshake.

This is Marietta’s biggest secret! Actually finding the small Harmar Village where it’s located is a secret in itself too since it’s more easily accessed via the pedestrian bridge. The number one reason I would come in here, other than to check out their humungous Coca Cola collection, is for their homemade PEPPERONIROLLS! They are ultra fresh and only $ 1.99 a pop. Come on, this is the area’s specialty! The employee who works the soda fountain named Linda is sooo sweet and friendly. She’s happy to answer any questions you have about town. Even better are the old time machines that still work to vend coca cola INBOTTLE! The large bottles are imported from Mexico and taste better with real sugar versus«corn sugar» or «high fructose corn syrup.» It’s a great place to chat it up with locals while eating a foot long hot dog or deli sandwich.
