We dined at this restaurant today and the food was delicious! The Chicken Cordon Bleu was tender and tasty. The Pasta La Madeline was finger licking good! And the deserts to die for! The atmosphere was cozy! It was our first time there but far from our last.

Wow! This place is amazing! I come here often because it’s a cute spot and the food is delicious! Unfortunately the last time I went, there was a slight problem with my dish to which the kind man at the cash register offered to remake my entire dish free of charge. I declined because I’d already eaten half my meal, so he insisted on giving me TWO of the yummy baked goods I’d been eyeing earlier instead. I was already more than satisfied at this point, but a few minutes later, he came by my table with my new dish in a to-go bag AND cash back to make up the difference for my meal. Just wow! Talk about incredible customer service! Thank you. If you’re in the area, definitely check out La Madeline :)

Can’t stop won’t stop. This place has the best tomato soup and the best coffee. Their pastries are out of this world good. The service is excellent and the sitting is ver convenient. Outside sitting is the best lol

I was a little disappointed when I ate here. I think the french atmosphere was better than the food. It’s cozy — we sat next to a fireplace. It’s a place to talk with a friend over coffee & dessert. Not really so much for the food. For the price, I was expecting better. It’s cafeteria style and taste like it too. Me and my boyfriend came here for lunch. I had a chicken florentine crêpe and my boyfriend had some kind of fettuccine alfredo, and both were nothing special. Kind of bland, not salted, and just overall blah. I had a difficult time finishing. Honestly probably should have stuck with a sandwich and soup, but I was craving something«french». Service was great though, and the coffee was good. But, I don’t see myself coming back here unless it’s for desserts.

This little place is cute, the wifey dragged me here one morning for breakfast. The ambiance is nice, old world country French so it’s cozy. Food was good but nothing to overly« Unilocal» about. I would give it anther chance of two. I will say that the pastry selection is awesome!

Been ordering same menu item for years and have seen its quality lessen a little more each time. Most recently, it was disgusting and caused one of my children to vomit immediately on their plate. Service continues to worsen. Chicken salad chick is now a better option 20 feet away.

So the first time I visited this restaurant, a couple of months ago, I loved it. Food was great and staff were very friendly. What caught my attention was how clean the restaurant was. Amazing! However, this Christmas, we ordered the holiday meal pack from the catering. Very frustrating. First, they said that our order wasn’t there, but we told them that the catering specialist had called us to confirm. Took them like an hour and a half to actually get our food. Then, they didn’t add everything that we had ordered. Third, they put a charge on my moms credit card about 6 times, all of them different prices. So, they got our order wrong and charged us multiple times. I’ll never use their catering services again. My tip to you? Dine in, but don’t use their catering. It was very frustrating.

I believe this may be my favorite la madeleine location in atlanta! it’s warm, cozy, and inviting. what more can you ask for? this has got to be the friendliest group of team members I’ve ever encountered at a la madeleine! everyone is so well-mannered, hospitable and so friendly. you’re greeted from the first time you enter the door all the way to your seat. you’ll be greeted by so many friendly faces as you dine here. their customer service is just amazing. the food is consistent, fresh, and comes out piping hot. I’ve never had a bad experience here. out of all of atlanta, I highly recommend this location over all the others!

Really casual place to meet up with friends. Nice selection of soup, salad, sandwiches, desserts, etc. Free bread and jam with the meal that’s self served. There is also a fireplace and outdoor patio.

This place is literally the best place ever! I started coming here back when I was high school because I was taking French. And I’ve been coming here ever since! When you walk in here it’s like you aren’t even in Georgia anymore. You’re literally transported to like the French country side, with lovely French music dancing in the background and delectable desserts greeting you 2 steps later. The only thing that bring you back to Ga, is that the workers don’t have French accents… Which is fine with me because they are so pleasant and helpful. I always get the pesto pasta with chicken. Its literally FREAKINAWESOME! But there are of course other options to choose from on their menu. When you order you get a giant wooden spoon to put on your table so they know where to deliver your order. Next you can either wait at whatever table you choose to enjoy your upcoming meal, or you can help yourself to a couple of slices of bread and their house made jellies(I personally like the strawberry rubarb one) it’s awesome! This place is fantastic! Whenever I need a short little getaway I always come here. Though I have never been to Paris, it is always pretty fun to imagine myself actually being right there in the midst of the Parisian hustle and bustle. It’s the best semi-vacation a young foodie could ever ask for!

Wow! I beautiful Sunday without rain and we made the three mile bike ride back for breakfast. Clear roads while everyone is in their respective services… Great again. The big win this trip was that the little man got to see how the yummy crust on a crème Brulee is made. I think the child is hooked to this place even more now!

Service is quicker than the customers can decide on what to order. Crêpe Romanoff is wonderful any time of day. The French onion soup always hits the spot. The chicken friand makes a great dish with its mushroom sauce. The potato galette complements a meal. Probably wouldn’t think to go there for dinner but the lines are much shorter than lunch.

I stopped in between some shopping when I foolishly decided to make my way to Merchants Walk the week before Christmas. It was Tuesday at around noon and a cluster as usual. It was pretty busy inside but I was only getting it to go. I ordered an egg-white croissant with turkey and cheese. I really didn’t think I waited long but the cashier gave me an adorable little layered fruit pudding thing, he said for my «wait.» I got a French coffee and poured in some half and half. very good coffee. I honestly kept the croissant sitting in the package for about 30 minutes because I had to drive to get my tires changed, so this time probably affected my experience. By the time I got to munch, I thought it was very good but sooo greasy and wet. So much so, that it soaked my hands with grease(?). I think the freshness caused massive steam in the well-sealed to-go box and it backfired on my meal. I’d really love to try their soup and salad and bread. so I wouldn’t be completely opposed to going back.

Absolutely the best. We went by there as a rather large group at about 8:30 on a Saturday night., La Madeleine was awesome in accommodating us. As always I loved the bottomless cup coffee and the pastries(not bottomless unfortunately). In fact my cheesecake was so rich I could only eat half. And even though I was stuffed I still saved room for a piece of their free and awesome bread. Ahhhh just like Paris(except for the free part)… Here is something that shows me they care about customer service. I was supposed to go to the grocery store on the way home from a dinner party and instead we decided to carry on with our boisterous party and have some dessert. I HAVE to have my half and half with my coffee every morning, but since I wasn’t going to have time to hit my store before they closed I asked the manager if he had any half and half in those little premeasured cups. He said no they only had fresh. And then he said I can put some in some to go container for you to take home. I said okay and a couple minutes later he appeared with a little brown paper bag with a ¼ cup of half and half in small to go container. Man you got my business! That is going above and beyond. Also they had been busy earlier that night and were getting low on pastries in the display. The manager himself jumped into action and started cutting up more pastries for us so we all could try the Sauer chocolate cake and more. Everyone was respectful, efficient and nice.

I’ve been a couple times with friends for lunch or dinner(btw…the tomato soup – magnificent!), but had the chance to run by today because I received what I refer to as «corporate birthday presents» for a free pastry for being a part of their mailing list. I will say, sometimes you go into a restaurant/store with a coupon/certificate for a freebie item, and you can hear the tension as they physically resist rolling their eyes – not here! I walked in the door, and there was a woman at the bakery counter right inside, who saw the certificate in my hand, smiled and said ‘Oh, you’re here for a pastry?” and I said I was, and asked her what were included in my options – and it was EVERYTHING(short of full sized cakes, etc on the bottom shelf) in the dessert case. I opted for a beautiful fruit tart — believe me, not an easy choice to make! they have a pretty gorgeous selection of desserts – and she boxed it up for me, and smiled and sent me on my way! I give them kudos not just for having a lovely mailing list/club perk, but for honouring it with such nice service – letting you know that you really are a valued customer, and not just a bother taking advantage of an offer. To me, that speaks VOLUMES about how they consistently treat their paying customers. Oh…and if you go… I’m *really* not kidding about the soup! :D(yum!)

I have eaten here any number of times at noon, usually with my assistant… I never fail to feel ill afterward! I think it’s just that the soups are so heavy and rich… It is cafeteria style, and while it’s supposed to be ‘French’ the staff seems to be Creole, or Acadian, which I guess is french. And yes, it’s cafeteria style. It feels overpriced. And it seems a little bit like it needs some cleaning and TLC… That said, they make a nice cup of coffee and the salads are good.

The only reason why I’m giving this three starts is because I was under the impression this was a restaurant complete with a hostess that seats you and servers that take your order and pamper you the whole time you are there. Sadly, I was mistaken. The set up is cafeteria style. Think, Picadilly meets IKEA and you have an upscale cafeteria styled restaurant dishing up French Food. I decided the French Onion Soup and the Ham and Cheese Quiche would suit me nicely. Usually I fore-go pork(no pork on my fork, no swine for my behind) but quiche and Nathan’s hot dogs are an exception to the rule. Besides, that quiche was calling my name and I didn’t want to disappoint. It seems like they couldn’t get the food out fast enough. As soon a a patron made their selection, the kitchen was then filling the empty space with a just made, hot off the grill item to replace it. I liked that. It means, more of a chance of freshly made food, and less of a chance of heat lamp marinated. Except of course, unless you were ordering the salad, fruit salad, or pasta salad. Those looked like they’ve been to hell and back. Sorry Madeleine, being honest. But hey, since I didn’t eat those, you are spared from the wrath of my review and the uncoveted 2 star rating. The manager was very friendly. Smiling the whole time and did not blink an eye or try to make excuses when I noticed the wine glass he handed me had spots on it. He took extra time to ensure my replacement glass did not have spots and one of the buffet servers stepped in to find a spotless glass without being asked to do so. I liked how I mattered to them. The French onion soup was delightful. The quiche was not salty and just right. This place was very busy which makes for good people watching. From the older women in awe over one of their friends I-Phone, to the other women whom did not know each other at all seemed to dress alike. I guess the sleeveless life preserver jacket vest look is in this year for suburban housewives? The zombie facial appearance of elderly couples as they tried to balance their trays and look for seats at the same time was also amusing . I think I’ll go back now that I know what to expect.
