Fresh, Satisfying, Good Mexican Food!!! I found this place on Unilocal a while back and did not know exactly where it was, the funny thing is that I have passed by it over the last two years a million times or more and did not realize it was there. Well, I can honestly say that I’m very glad we actually found it. I decided not to cook this past Sunday and let my son figure it out(ham and cheese sandwich, pizza rolls etc or whatever) but while we were leaving the grocery store, my son suggested that it would be a good time to stop and try out the place, and so we did. We were greeted and seated right away, it took a minute to explained to her that we were ordering to go, I finally got up and walk to the front counter to place my order. We ordered, 2 pupusa, 4 chicken tacos and steak nachos, not realizing that it would be to much food, it took them awhile to prepare everything but it was very fresh and good, the pupusa’s were great, I was recently introduced to me by a friend and fell in love. They served with mexican cold slaw(pickled cabbage, jalapenos and shredded carrots) and this red sauce. Yummy!!! The steak nachos were really good, the steak was cooked well, yet still very tender. The restaurant has 2 sides, they have a bar area, but they only serve beer. They also have an area that looks as if a dance floor is being built, the music was very loud but the restaurant was cool and clean, we actually returned the next day to try the chicken nachos. FYI: This restaurant is located off of South Cobb Drive near Austell Road amongst the Hispanic community. I don’t think anyone speaks much English, we actually had to point to the items on the Spanish menu.

I asked the owner how long they had been open, he said 6 years! Nobody knows this place, except maybe the spanish speaking locals. Food is very good. modestly priced with a nice variety. I had Bistec Encebollado(steak with fried onions) $ 12 and a coke $ 1. My wife had a cheese Quesadilla 4 $ and a coke $ 1 for a total of $ 19 with tax. But the menu is nicely varied. not just the usual enchiladas and tacos: fish filet with shrimp, sour cream and mushrooms, fish cocktail with octopus, clams, shrimp, fried tortilla, cheese and pico de gallo., raw oysters, pupusas(stuffed thick tortillas) are a few nice items. This will become a regular for us. Bring your spanish as the wait staff has little english but hooray for the cook.
