AHHH! Shannon is absolutely amazing! Of course, having your lady bits exposed to someone you’ve never met before is always awkward, but talking to Shannon is like talking to an friend you’ve known since high school! She’s got this old soul, full of wisdom. She really knows what she’s doing too! I have a high tolerance for pain but I still barely felt anything. She’s very thorough. I’m fair skinned and have very blonde hair but dang it if she didn’t get every last hair on my legs. GO TO HER! You won’t regret it!

Shannon is awesome! I have little experience with waxing. I have only been to one other place and my extremely sensitive skin never healed in between. It little stayed broken out and red. I was really worried about continuing to wax and researched a ton before trying Coco Beleza. Shannon was kind enough to answer all of my questions over the phone and gave me lots of tips to try on my skin to reduce redness and bumps. It has been about a week since my Brazilian and my skin looks much better than it ever has. Shannon’s salon is a small, private, and clean space. I will not be trying anyone else!

Shannon is one of the most fantastic people on the planet. I first went to her with a Groupon and have been going to her for several years now.
Obviously, lying spread eagle on a table, naked from the waist down and having hair ripped out of the most sensitive part of your body is an unpleasant experience – but Shannon has such a delightful and calming demeanor that you barely notice.
I don’t know how many other clients she has but she always remembers everything we’ve talked about – she’s kinda become my therapist as well as my waxer.
Needless to say, the wax job itself is always top notch.

While getting your wahoo coated in wax that is then ripped off isn’t the most pleasant experience, Shannon makes it comfortable as possible. Her soothing tone and demeanor helps create a manageable experience. Shannon constantly checks to make sure you are comfortable, the temp of the wax is alright and you are not about to pass out. I won’t go anywhere else even if Groupon does offer a bargain elsewhere.

Shannon is a doll! I started brazilian waxing last summer and since going to Shannon I have decided this will not just be a summer thing. Full body once a month! Meticulous, professional, helpful – AND a great person. #love

My first visit at Coco Beleza was via Groupon [like everything is for me nowadays]. Shannon has the most beautiful spirit. She makes you feel so relaxed [eventho youre getting 4 inches of hair ripped off]. Her conversations are genuine and she really cares about her clients. I actually enjoy the times that I spend here for my wax.

While the service itself will always come with some level of pain, Coco Beleza makes it as comfortable of an experience it can be. The service is done in a private room and you are the only customer attended to. This also means you are in and out without a fuss. Hallelujah!
The procedure itself is done with hard wax and the method Shannon uses is very sanitary (no double dipping or common wax bowl.
Shannon herself doesn’t do anything extra to make you feel relaxed… her personality and disposition is organically relaxing.
Coco Beleza prices are comparable to other really great salons, but you don’t have to worry about the long wait here.
Be on the lookout for specials like the one she recently ran on Groupon (I bought the max!!)! I haven’t seen many other specials by competitors! This will be my trusted place to groom my trusted place!

She is so sweet and does a great job. She has been doing this for a long time and really puts you at ease. HIGHLY recommended!

Coco Beleza Wax Spa is THE BEST!!! Shannon is super sweet and nice. She makes sure you are comfortable and for all the first timers she really explains how to care for your first wax. So many of my friends in other state are always telling me about their awful experience getting a wax. I always tell them to come here (Smyrna) and check out Shannon. This place is quiet, cozy and every easy to locate. If you can get to Cumberland Mall you’re too close to pass up Coco Beleze. I highly recommend this studio to everyone. You will not regret it.
