i don’t know why the other review was bad. i had flooring installed in my house due to a water problem june 2013. as it is a part time residence i noticed shrinkage in the material by sept. with spaces in the butt end joints. i met with mr. mike in january 2014 and we both looked at the floor. he agreed the gaps were unusually high but didn’t understand how this happened as he himself inspected the finished work(i was not present at that time) and he would have noticed it. mike went to work on my behalf and had the manufacturer rep come out and convinced him that it was not any other issue than the manufacturing. since it is a part time residence we were not in a rush but when the manufacturer was late in producing new material in april(manufacturing delay) i became concerned after a while. that’s when i saw the poor experience review of another customer and it also made me concerned that i might be stuck. well mike’s crew just left and i am here to inspect. btw freddy(crew supervisor) and his guys were the most professional group i have worked with and i know they took extra time installing to make sure it was installed exactly to manufacturer specs. mike also came by to make sure i was happy with the reinstall. to tell you the truth i was embarrassed that i gave mike a hard time after reading the poor review which prompted my knee jerk reaction. because of my misbehavior i feel compelled to write this review. in the end i had a wonderful experience. mike could have easily blown me off saying some shrinkage happens and that climate control in a vacant apt was to blame. but he recognized my problem immediately and also convinced the manufacturer to make good. and we all know how hard this is to do. this family business is why we need to remember how it was/is to deal with a local company who knows customer service. give mike and co. a chance i think you’ll be glad you did. i know i am.
