The original Johnny’s was in Chester This one has the same great dogs plus more. It’s still the same family ran by Johnny’s grandson Great breakfast and lunch I love the hamburgs with their chili sauce

The boss with the sauce. Best dive hotdog joint in town. Don’t expect a great looking place but expect amazing chili dogs. Food is great I buy the chili sauce and will have people over for the game n make everyone chili dogs with the secret sauce.

The last remaining stand of a Delaware County/Philadelphia region institution run by a member of the founding family. Several year«Best Of Delco» winner and the best hot dog around, period. Get two with the works, a Coney Island-style hot dog with topped with their famous delicious spiced chili style sauce. The sauce is the real thing which throws John’s over the top. Add an order of cheese fries and a Coke or Stewarts for one of the best local lunch experiences you can get. The bright orange exterior is like a beacon, don’t pass by this gem. John’s Doggie Shop is still the«boss with the sauce!»

If I could give a negative star I would. The service is the absolute worst. The place is a complete dive and the workers are the laziest people on the face of the earth. They server mediocre crap at best. Never, ever, ever would I go there again. I stopped on my way back down 322 with a group of people. It was 4:30 and the woman working said the place closes at 5 and they only have two hot dogs left. Well genius here is an idea grab a few more and cook them you lazy scrub. Pathetic excuse for an establishment. Oh yeah and clean the place once in a while.

I suppose gods green earth doesn’t extend past the border of Marcus Hook because this is a slightly below average hot dog joint. I’ve been here a couple times before doing this review because I thought they were just having a bad day the first time but I was wrong. The hot dogs are grilled and are nothing special and the burgers are generic frozen patties. The big kicker for me were the rolls. Each time the rolls were not fresh and had an odd taste. The chili served here was okay but they do need to turn down the heat a bit. Nothing ruins lunch faster them a mouth full of boiling chili. I would not be opposed to eating here again if someone else paid but if I’m buying I’m going to the Wawa next door. The Wawa dogs are in the same field as john’s but much cheaper at two for $ 1.50 and they don’t expect a tip.

Greatest place on God’s green earth! Super quick, super delicious and super cheap. They are renown for their Hot Dogs but my favorite is their cheeseburgers. Breakfast, milkshakes and fries are very good! You have to try their special sauce on either the hot dog or the burger.
