Acacia Nursery

Note to all potential customers:
As of just a few months ago, this business had somewhere between a 1 and 2 star rating. The owner of this business has since contacted those that reviewed his nursery and has asked them to remove their negative reviews, not because they are not true, but because he blames all bad past performance on the part of an employee, who he claims he fired (note: their problems are most systemic than one employee, as I had problems with everyone I dealt with). I know this because he contacted me through Unilocal messages and asked me to remove my review. When I refused, he played the pity card, saying my review would hurt his wife and kids’ livelihood; he talked about how he’s disabled, how all his business’ problems were the fault of one employee, etc. When I told him that I would not remove my review because my experience with his company was so bad, he proceeded to respond and accuse me of being an angry and unhappy person and that he’d «pray for me».
You’ll also notice a spate of 5 star reviews that have popped up just recently. Most of these reviews are from people with only 1 or two total reviews on Unilocal.These are obviously fabricated reviews. Based on my interactions with the owner, I highly suspect that he’s either creating these reviews himself under pseudonyms or is asking friends and family to provide 5 star reviews. You’ll note that some of the reviews are from people out of state, so they’re obviously fake.
This is a really shameful business that will sink to any level to try to scam a dollar out of the new unsuspecting customer. Avoid this place at all costs!!!

Looks like this nursery has turned things around with new staff that know what they are doing. Great mom and pop shop as opposed to those «Big Box» stores. Prices are very reasonable and the plants are beautiful.

This place is close to our home. We just moved to Marana and our yard needed help. With the excellent help of all of the staff at Acacia we bought 35 cacti and succulents. They came a few days later and planted all of them. It is now two months later and everything we purchased from Acacia is thriving! All of their plants are very healthy. Customer service can’t be beat; the staff is very knowledgeable about the care of everything they sell. I suggested they provide a small sign for our yard so our neighbors would know who was responsible for fantastic work.

Awesome nursery. Just purchased some beautiful plants for great prices. Staff was very friendly and knowledgable. Highly recommend. Definitely coming back for more.

Wow, this place is awesome. They have a new manager that is fantastic. Quality exceptional and prices very reasonable. Very knowledgable and helpful staff too!

Great selection, best I’ve found in Tucson. Prices were very reasonable for bare root cacti. We bought a Tompson Yucca which I couldn’t find any where else at a reasonable price, a gold barrel and an agave. All were relatively easy to plant ourselves.
