Margot and I went here to walk and fish. (Margot does not fish. She is a dog.) I caught one fish and converted it into two tacos.

Large campsites with fire pit, picnic table, and ample shade. The bathrooms/​showers were clean. The shower was a bit freezing the first day but by day two we had realized that in order to get warm water, you have have to continue pressing the button. They sell large bundles of firewood and ice for an incredibly decent price. They have a great trail around the entire park which made for a perfect run. They are a ‘green’ campground and provided bags for recycling and composting which I thought was a genius idea.
It was a great little lunch pad for us while we explored the city. Check it out!

Baker Park Reserve is a beautiful wedding venue! To rent the lodge and area for a ceremony/​reception is a completely reasonable rate! As a wedding photographer, I see a lot of big glamorous weddings but a wedding I shot here was absolutely beautiful! Tucked away in the woods and has a natural beauty. Plus, the couple was able to bring in their own food which also helped them save a lot of money! For those having a smaller wedding, I recommend looking into Baker Park!

I went camping with some friends a months ago and this campground is really nice. The price isn’t really expensive and our campsite was really open and had a nice amount of trees. There is a decent amount of mosquitoes, but much better than St. Croix campground.
Down at the beach, there was lot to do such as:
— Canoeing
— Great biking paths
— Volleyball (It’s a decent court, but still usable!)
— Swimming

My wife and I take a trip out here once a year to hang out with her cousins. The atmosphere is woody once you exit the parking lot and it is real clean. It is almost like you are not 10 minutes out of the cities.
There is a great swimming beach for the kids and the park rangers don’t mess with you too much if you are having fun late, as long as you are responsible.
They have multiple bathrooms near the campsites and our group has been back here for more than 15 years.
The grass is kempt and solid and everyone just seems to have a great time

I went camping there this weekend at their campground. Good campground, plenty of trees. Cheaper than the state parks, but a few less trees. Good bathrooms. Nice nature program on Saturday night.
