This place is a bit mysterious considering it’s only open two days a week for breakfast. What can be more confusing than a Diner with limited hours? Call me crazy, I like a diner where I can watch my eggs prepared and my corned beef hash plated directly off the flat top grill. That doesn’t happen here. However, a few things I like: fresh ham cut off the bone, oversized breakfast sausage links with a distinct peppery flavor and steaming hash brown potatoes properly served with a crusty bark. Other than that, Moon Dance Diner is extremely narrow with about 6 tables and a service counter of 8 stools lined up so tight that your new neighbor is now your best friend.

Moon Dance Diner is absolutely amazing! They have a small menu, but everything that I have had has been fantastic. They serve breakfast on the weekends — to die for — and are open Wednesday evenings for dinner. My all time favorite is the turkey panini. They also serve incredible burgers, the best chicken sandwiches I have ever had, and an awesome chicken salad sandwich. The staff is super friendly, and George, the owner can always be found greeting his customers or working his magic in the kitchen. It is a small town diner that can’t be missed!

This place is fantastic! From the second we walked in the door the service was friendly and we were seated immediately. The food was DELICIOUS and reasonably priced. You could tell it was homemade. I’m glad that this place re-opened after it was closed for a while– my family has wanted to try it for sometime and now we had the chance! I would recommend it to anyone. Will DEFINITELY be eating here again! Well done!

Sadly, they had to shut their doors as of June 15, 2012. Very sorry to see this delightful mom and pop shop close down.
