Great service. They came out within hours of my call and succeeded in getting a key made for a difficult vehicle. They also stuck with their quoted price even though it was a more difficult job than they planned for.

Called this guy at moment’s notice to come and install new locks on my new house. Came within 15 minutes and did the job as fast as I would have imagined. Probably one of the friendliest and knowledgeable locksmith I have ever met. Would 100% recommend this company for your locksmith needs.

They came to my new house, accessed my needs, made recommendations, and rekeyed every lock in my house in under 2 hours — flipping amazing! I can’t say enough good things about Mike and MJB. Like, by the time you finish reading this review, you might wonder if we’re related or something. But no really, my socks were totally knocked off — and that’s a tough thing to do!
So from the beginning, Mike impressed. I used the online form on his website (
) to ask for an estimate to replace the locks in our home. Not only did I receive a reply within about 30 minutes at something like 10 p.m., but Mike immediately told me that he thought we could probably do a rekeying of all our locks rather than an actual replacement, which is much cheaper. It should be obvious that I know nothing about how locks work or the locksmithing business works, but Mike was honest, did not take advantage of my lack of knowledge and steered me toward the right solution even though it meant a lower bill in the end. Because it was the right solution. If only everyone operated with such integrity. Mike was super responsive as we sent a few emails back and forth and we’d worked out a time for an appointment within an hour of my initial request for an estimate.
As for the appointment itself, Mike showed up promptly at 9 a.m. Like, he pulled into my driveway as the clock turned 9. He introduced himself and his assistant. I showed them where the doors were and they set to work. They were thorough and very professional. They were respectful of our house and our belongings. And the great integrity Mike showed when we set up our appointment continued on his visit. Mike showed me the existing deadlock that was very hard to turn and said he’d do his best to get it working (works like amazingly now). He also at one point recommended that I replace one of the knobs instead of doing the rekey because it had rusted out pretty thoroughly. He brought me the knob, explained the problem and was low-​pressure. He let me make the call (I chose to replace it).
Once the work was done, Mike walked me through it, answered my questions and had me test all of the keys for our new locks before he left the house. I really appreciated that extra step. What was probably supposed to be an easy appointment ended up taking almost two hours, yet he didn’t rush through it or skimp on the small things like making sure I was satisfied that the keys and locks worked properly. He wrote me up an invoice, made sure I agreed on the math and left both the invoice and his card. Super professional in every way. After he left you wouldn’t have known he was here at all. The house was just as clean as when he arrived. And I have to say — I was pretty stunned at the cost, in a good way. Seriously, for two hours of time for two people working, my hair salon charges me more.
A+ and then some. The business card is going on the fridge and we will call MJB for our future needs in this area.

Locked BOTH my sets of keys in my trunk a few months back, somehow. Called Mike and he was at my place within 15 minutes or so. Amazing service, very nice and communicative, and for a reasonable price. And won’t jack up prices on you like a lot of the predatory operators in this space.

I locked my keys in my car. MJB was prompt, courteous, and provided great service. My car had some newer security features, but he knew how to handle them and was professional and friendly. Prices were fair. Would definitely recommend and use again.

One of the deadbolts at my townhome stopped working and we were unable to open the door. Frozen? Broken? I didn’t know. I called Mike and he agreed to come over and take a look. Then he called and tried to talk me into doing it myself to save some $$. Knowing my limitations, I asked him to take a look at it and he arrived promptly. He spent some time trying to get the lock to open up, repaired it, and worked it back and forth to make sure it would continue to work. Apparently it wasn’t fitting properly into the door jamb. He corrected that issue and all is well!

I was hanging out with some friends at their place and the one who lives there locked himself out, so thankfully these guys showed up promptly and it didn’t take long to unlock the door, so they did exactly what you need a locksmith to do: get there and unlock the damn door you shouldn’t have.
