Nice cozy café, very homey inside. Had a delicious fresh chocolate croissant and hot chocolate. Check this place out, if you are visiting the nearby aquarium.

Stopped in for coffee and a muffin on a recent visit to the area. The shop is nice enough, coffee was fresh, muffin was fine. The middle-aged gentleman(one of two working, acted like the owner or manager but that is just a guess) talked about a female employee(or ex-employee?) to the other guy working — intermittently, for at least half an hour. It seemed to be his excuse to use the word, ‘bitch,’ as many times as possible — twenty times or so. You could tell he really enjoyed using it, too, by the emphasis he gave it each and every time. Hearing an employee badmouth anyone is bad taste, but the level of vitriol and contempt put my hair on end. Anyway, a tremendously easy place to recommend avoiding — I wish all ratings were this easy to decide!

From out of town and walked in to this rude bitch running the counter with attitude. I asked how often the coffee is brewed she said as needed, which means it could be from 8 hours ago it is 2pm now… Then i looked at the timers on the coffee one said 4 hours, 3 hrs and another was over an hour! I told her with my brother who had the same coffee and she gave mad attitude screaming saying she will only brew the 4hr old one again that is all i get! I wanted to slap that bitch. then she lied to our face said it was brewed 30 mins ago, like i cant read a timer you moron. Sucks!!!

My parents live on Roanoke Island, yet I’ve never stopped here. Kind of sad I’ve missed coming here for so many years. Delicious pastries, good latte, good service!

Stopped here on our exodus from the OBX. Shortly after opening and grabbed a tasty drip coffee and a bacon, cheese, and egg bagel sandwich. Totally hit the spot and it was a relatively quick experience. I would recommend stopping here anytime you are in the area. I would love to check this place out next time because they also have draft beer available. Seems like this would be a nice place to relax in the evening.

I’m writing this review while drinking my delicious Front Porch Café decaf! This is a place my husband and I visit every year that we visit the Outer Banks. We always leave with a few bags of beans for each of us. The coffee is smooth and delicious. The Manteo café is clean and has free Wi Fi. There are plenty of seats for either sipping a coffee and enjoying a fresh made pastry. The customer service is always great, too. You have to check out this café if you like coffee. Also, they now serve craft beers!

Front Porch Café was delicious! The West 3rd frozen is so decadent and delicious, but everything on the menu looked amazing. The best chocolate croissant I’ve ever had. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere, both inside and on the porch, was perfect for sipping coffee and relaxing.

Great coffee and food. Light fare but delicious. Got a spinach and feta croissant. It was delicious. The barista was super friendly and helped us choose a great drink. I got the Summer Soother on ice which was divine. Definitely worth a stop if you’re looking for a quick bite or a good coffee drink. Good selection of tea as well.

This place… I love it. I have never been to manteo before. They have a wide variety of coffees and teas and some pastries. Also, local jams are available for purchase along with gourmet organic chocolate bars. My breve latte was delicious. The rainy day only added to the quaint coffee house feel.

We stopped in here for a hot drink after getting rained on. The atmosphere was nice and the staff were friendly. The drinks were ok. I thought the chai was a little weak and the honey almond espresso drink I got was really sweet. I prefer stronger coffee and tea. I like supporting locally owned businesses. It was an okay coffee shop. They don’t have much in the way of protein, like breakfast sandwiches. They do have some bakery items like scones and muffins.

Coffee and drink selection is great. We all had different drinks from the soy lattes to an iced coconut cream pie and caffe mochas to regular coffee. All were great. This is such a unique place and so much better than the chain coffee places. We all sat and talked for a while as there was plenty of comfy seating! Definitely recommend.

Variety of drink options: coffee, tea, and wine. Small assortment of breakfast items(oatmeal, pastries) — muffins were WARM! What a treat. With free WiFi, good customer services, and fantastic coffee, who wouldn’t come here?

Spacious, modern atmosphere with an array of seating options. Creative menu with vegan options. A wide assortment if mugs, tumblers, and other merch. Oh and if you forgot a book, they have a tiny library too. This place is awesome.

Great coffee spot! A bit pricey, but you pay for what you get — hip and recently renovated, good coffee and scones … Been a morning ritual for us all week while working in Manteo. We’ll be back.

I started off in the Kill Devil Hills location, but soon grew more fond of the Nags Head location. The service is exemplary at both mind you, but I find the Nags Head location definitely more to my liking, more spacious, cool vibes, more of a chill out for a while type spot and seems to be more of a selection with respect to crafts, teas, etc. Coffee is great, I tend to find one drink and stick with it, but I actually have two that I’m fond of here; the West 3rd and the Heath Bar. Pastries and muffins seem good, quite large portions and right around what you would think to pay for the quality. My bill was $ 15 for 2 small specialty coffees, 2 macaroons and a apple turnover. I’m a Starbucks fan, but if I lived closer to Front Porch, here is where my coffee money would be spent.

OK, The first time I went here I gave a review on the wrong place. Funny but the picture showed Front Porch Café. I always try to stop here on my visits to the OB. A great atmosphere and the people are very friendly and the coffee is above grade. The bakery treats are scrumptious. I have a weakness for Scones and this café has one of the most delicious Cinnamon Scones EVER ! Sorry *Bucks. I go to the other place allot *B –with * being a star. But I have to say, I like Front Porch Café better. Larger inside(the one in Manteo) and very clean. The best part is they have a Internet Docking Bar. You have power outlets and a DIRECTCONNECTION(100.0 Mbps). Great for those VPN business travelers(yours truly). OH. They supply the cat-5 cable also. It does not get any better than this. A great coffee house that has it all. Make sure you stop when in Manteo. Next to RD Sawyer Motor –The Ford Dealer on Main St Hwy 64. I know this will be your favorite stop in or out of the OB.
