We went for breakfast for the first time after reading the reviews first. Not bad, I would try the place again. The only negative was that our breakfast was not hot as temperature wise. It was more like luke warm. The country potatoes that came with the dirty omelette were very tasty, but warm food would have received a 5 star rating. Same with my waffle breakfast. The service was good and friendly. I will give this place a second try later.

I come here regularly since they have opened. I have tried most of the items on their menu and everything is amazing. The staff is always friendly and attentive. I would recommend Mike’s for anytime of the day. Breakfast/lunch/dinner you will find something good!

I’ve been here several times in the past year. I love the raw juices. Agree with other reviewers that it would be nice if the were chilled. I can only recommend the Eggs Benedict because the dish is so awesome, I haven’t ordered anything else. Service has always been pleasant. I love the two tables with cushioned chairs. Very cozy for a long visit with a friend.

The breakfast potatoes are amazing. My husband had the sesame salad chicken in a wrap and it was very very good! Great service and clean restaurant.

My new favorite in my new neighborhood! It is a bit dark, so it feels kinda different… like they should bump up the lights a bit. But ignore that the décor needs a little help. We are in Manteca AND all is well. This morning there was soft Christmas music playing. Service is wonderful. Love the food!!! Pancakes, eggs, fruit that is actually high quality and good on the middle of winter. Went for breakfast. Fabulous menu! There is a REAL chef managing the kitchen who knows how to create tasty, quality food. I like to have the place to myself– but I am concerned that It not busy enough!!! Come on my Unilocalers– Get in here!!!

Came here first time. Very nice place to eat and good for brunch. Vegetarian omelette was delicious. Vanilla Carmel latte was good too. Will come back.

Let me just start by saying that I used to be a big fan of this place, but over the last year they have been going downhill. My favorite item to order was the ABC Sandwich, which is now just a greasy bland mess. They used to have random specials that were a pleasantly delicious treat. I haven’t seen them do it in months. And they got rid of their homemade chips! They’ve changed the waiting staff, and not for the better. Sorry Mike’s, you just aren’t what you used to be.

Excellent food! My friend had the Rueben omelette that was stacked high, like a mountain. I had the California omelette. I swear it had a pound of bacon in it. Coffee is good, too!

Came here for the first time on a Friday night(dinner time). There was a good amount of patrons there but seemed as if they were understaffed. Most of the time when we were there they was only one waitress trying to wait on everyone and clean the tables as people left. Only right before we were leaving did I see another waitress. Food was ok… We had appetizers(garlic fries and onion rings) both were pretty good. For dinner we had a cobb salad, 3 cheese grilled cheese and a childs cheeseburger meal. Overall the food was decent. Wasnt happy that we sat for awhile waiting on some refills of our drinks and had to ask for utensils. Maybe it was due to being short staffed? Not sure, but they should make sure their staffing is up to par especially at the peak dinner times. Doubt that I will be back for dinner. I may try it for breakfast

I have eaten here several times, but last evening was the worst service I ever had. It took for ever to get our food, my dish fish n chips was warm in fact one piece of fish was cold inside. I did let a server know,(not our server she never came back to see how our food was) she offered to take my dish back, I declined because how much longer would I have to wait for a new dish. We had already been there for close to 1 ½. On the other hand my daughters dish the stuffed chicken marcela was good, even though it was warm not hot when it was served.

Had another great meal at Mikes. I ordered the Fish and chips, And they were happy to let me substitute a House Salad for the Fries. The fish was good, and the salad was Fantastic! Quite simply the best«House Salad» I’ve ever had! Enjoy!

Amazing juices/salads and really friendly staff! We came in 15 mins to closing on our way home from San Diego. We didn’t want to end up eating crappy fast food, this place was a life saver. Thank you for giving us what we needed: some fresh, healthy food! :)

So delicious, yet so far away! I only end up here as i’m driving through and from Stockton after celebrating Cambodian New Years. Because as good as this place is, why else would I go to the middle of nowhere AKA Manteca… This is a branch off and connected to Moutain Mike’s Pizza yet is so much more than just Pizza!!! I’m not sure if they strategically choose which locations to add this organic juice bar café to, but I’m praying for the day that it comes to SJ. Food wise, don’t let the name of the place fool you! It’s not a health nut only slim pickings kind of place. Well, they do have delicious healthy food options and amazing raw juices — BUT they also have great burgers, fries, and other fatty necessities. The healthy and not so healthy mouth pleasers: (1) Artichoke and Jalapeño Dip — was tasty! Creamy with a nice spicy kick from the jalapenos, complimented with lightly buttered baguettes toasted to perfection. (2) Sweet Potato Criss Cuts — sooo good! Something about the criss cut makes such a difference; the texture was super crispy. The sweet potato was nice and lightly sweet. Came with 2 house sauces — a ranch type sauce and green pesto like aioli(which was my fave). (3) Homemade Potato Chips — were somehow even better than the Criss Cuts! I may have a slight obsession with Potatoes, but trust me when I say these are also a must try! (4) Mike’s Moutain Burger — was a lot of things going on. It was pretty much a triple layer burger with texas thick cut toast instead of the regular bun. Overall taste was good, it was just A LOT. (5) Ahi Salad — this was delicious! I was a little worried about what a café can do with raw tuna, but damn they sure can do alot! The pepper crusted tuna was cooked perfectly(lightly seared, mostly raw) — complimented with strawberries, edamame, other salad necessites, and a great vinaigarette sauce. (6) San Joaquin Green Raw Juice — was delicious and refreshing. The celery, parsley, and cucumber was not too strong and worked well with the fresh apple juice. (7) Keeping up the Beat Raw Juice — def for all the kale lovers out there. I actually don’t like beets and was worried by the red color that it was going to be dominant. Lucky for me, the Carrot and Kale flavor stood out more than the beets. (8) BanSaw Fresh Smoothie — banana, strawberry, and fresh apple juice blended to an ice cold smoothie? How can you not? ***My only negative about their raw juices is that their veggies/fruit aren’t chilled so it’s pretty much a very warm, although fresh juice. I generally ask for a cup of ice to put in the juice, even though it was a little watered down — I just love super cold drinks.

Hidden gem at the edge of shopping center This is a small place and very nicely decorated. Our server was very friendly and welcoming. Menu has full breakfast menu all day. Burgers, sandwiches, salads, fresh juice menu, smoothies, also dinner specials like shrimp tacos, salmon and pasta . Great choice !!

My only complaint about their food is the food they won’t give me. I want the house made potato chips and deep fried Oreos back. These were so good they made my mouth water just by looking at them. Aside from that: absolutely no complaints. We drive 20 min each way to come here and we tell everyone about it. The ahi tuna appetizer is so good I can eat three servings by myself. Their fresh juices taste fantastic and they’re good for you. That’s what we call a win win. Favorites: fish sandwich & Mike’s dirty toasty. The dirty toasty is the best comfort food breakfast I’ve had. It is a breakfast that scratches my back and tells me I’m pretty. I have and will keep suggesting they open a location closer to home for me.

Let me just say, I had doubts about this place when I walked in the door. We sat down in the dark dimly lit room. I had met up with my father for lunch today at this place. He had ordered a Tuna sashimi for an appetizer. I must say this thing was to die for. Wow it was good I thought. It was on par with some of the fish one would receive from a sushi restaurant. I was truly impressed so far. I came from a small town that had a coffee shop similar to this. It felt as though I was back in highschool again at my old coffee shop. The other thing that I noticed was how clean the restaurant was. There was not a left over table in sight and the floor looked as though it was regularly swept. The waitress that helped us was very nice. She was on top of drink refills and truly seemed happy to be working here. The same vibe was carried through the other workers there too. It’s nice to see especially as a customer when employees at a restaurant actually enjoy working there. I will highlight two separate occasions that I stopped here. The first time I stopped here I had clam chowder and filet mignon. I must say that the soup was amazing. I was worried that I would receive soup from a can as I do from so many establishments in the past but this was different. The streak was cooked to perfection. A lot of the time when I go out, I will tell them to cook a steak to a certain type(rare, medium rare, etc) and it never gets cooked how I like it. This place heeded my requests and performed. The second time I stopped here, I had Mike’s tacos. Again, I was not disappointed at all what so ever. These tacos were sooo good. Unlike other fish tacos, the sauce wasn’t too sweet or did it have too much salt. It was just right to my tastes, The dish came with chips which I thought was awesome. On the way out the door, I decided to have a coffee. My father had a juice drink with beets. I must say that we both enjoyed our drinks. I will definitely be returning as I was impressed quite a bit. Its nice to have a place in town that gives off that small town coffee shop vibe. This place delivered on that notion. Things to note: This place only uses fresh ingredients(Organic, etc). The owner of Mountain Mike’s next door is also the owner of this place.

Very Impressed! I had the Sour Dough French Toast. Loved!!! Real Maple Syrup! Service was a bit slow but seriously, the food made up for it.

We were one of the first couple that walk in the restaurant early on Saturday morning. The place had three rolls of tables and chairs. Very spacious and warming. The young gentlemen greet us with a smile. First we chose a small table with a love chairs. By the time we finish reading the menu, we realized we needed a bigger table. By the time we know what we wanted to order, there was a rush of people came in. It must haven been a good 10 other tables total. We order gravy and biscuit, egg Benedict, and crispy eggs. Two tiny people with three big plate of food. The gravy biscuit tasted creamy, a little bit on the spicy side if you like a kick of pepper. Cuz I like it. Egg Benedict was perfectly poachers on top of biscuit. The biscuit was crunchy not soft and soggy like other places. I love the crunchiness to it. Crispy eggs is a little different from other places I’ve been to. It’s typically soft boil eggs deep fried with light battered. But this place wrapped the soft boil eggs with ground meat. It’s kinda of like ground meat stuffed with soft boil eggs. Either way. It’s crunchy crisp and the eggs was soft and warm in the middle. It was so good! I really like the service because we were the first to order but other people got their food first. At the beginning we didn’t think too much of it. But the guy came over to ensure us that our food takes a little longer cuz of the crispy soft boil eggs. I thought it wAs very perceptive and considerate of him. The food tasting was epic as well. All dishes that we ordered were so good. Surprise I can find a café that serve everything on a menu that I would typically want if I was craving for breakfast. And I don’t have to travel far or tries to decide if I want to go to a a café with egg Benedict or biscuit and gravy. This is all in one stop shop. I couldn’t ask for more! Definitively will come back and highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a good breakfast place in the valley

So far so good. Bfst. And lunch has been good. Good alternative to all the fast food places in town. On the pricey side but worth it.
