No fresh fruit and original tart tasted icky, I don’t even know what I could compare it to, it didn’t taste like yogurt and it wasn’t tart. I was hoping for so much more. Sooooo disappointed. I will drive to Stockton, get better frozen yogurt, and still save money.

I love the place. I take my daughter here regularly. The employees are always Nice and friendly. This is the best spot in town for frozen yogurt! The place is always clean and the best part is, it’s never out of frozen yogurt. The employees always keep every item in stock. Phenomenal place!

Took my daughter in for an after school treat(which I rarely get to do since I work full time but was off today). I’ve been here several times in the past and my older children love it. But today we were serviced by Sue who was not friendly. I grew up in a restaurant where customer service was our number one priority!!! After all they do pay the bills. After today’s experience we will not be returning.

+} Colorful, various choices of yogurt & toppings. Owner Jeff Leotard is nice & helpful to resolve double charging credit card issues. -} Stale toppings, numerous non working machines, preferred flavors are fleeting, incompetent/in-welcoming staff, stamp cards are always out of stock, they intentionally don’t give them back unless you ask, not open late & staff are always closing early(15−20min) apparently the weekend is more important than business during business hours. Owner is never there in evening doing necessary spot checks. With so many fro yo shops popping up you’d think they wouldn’t raise their prices to 45 cents an ounce. But instead lower since they have more things un-appealing then enticing.

Yum, yum, yum! The Liotards are doing it right with both Chilaberries & Mikes! Frozen yogurt is the best and I’m always extremely pleased with the service here. Great yogurt flavors and great toppings!

So, this place reminds me of coldstone, but probably more options to create almost anything you can imagine for a frozen treat. Because it has many options, can’t say how fresh everything can actually be, especially if kids are trying to serve themselves. I tried smores and it was awesome and was highly satisfied. The biggest problem is that it’s expensive. Almost $ 8 – 10’s for a loaded green/pink bowl.

Tons of toppings and a lot of yogurt flavors. The fruit poppers are weird they leave a plastic like coating piece in your mouth. The other problem is we spent $ 30.00 on yogurt and had forgotten our punch card at home. They were out of cards and refused to even punch the receipt. We will not be returning. CRUSH frozen yogurt will receive all of our business from now on!

I used to love Chilaberries until Menchies opened in Tracy. I walked in the other day and was VERY mad that they raised their prices. It’s not longer .39 an oz, now it’s .45 an oz.(I think). So, we spent almost $ 30 for freakin yogurt. The flavors were just ok, nothing comparable to Menchies. Overall, I’m disappointed with Chilaberries for raising their prices. They should have waffle cone cups too!!!

Two stars for the amazing selection of toppings to choose from. The froyo flavors taste way too artificial. Cherry and orange taste like cough medicine and the texture of the froyo is a little too watery for my preference.

Great yogurt. Candy is very stale. I’ll come only for yogurt but because paying by the oz. for stale candy was soooo NOT worth it.

Not sure if I went on a bad day, but my frozen yogurt tasted disgusting! Tasted like rotten milk! I seriously walked out and threw it in the garbage outside. I’ll give it two stars for their large selection of toppings.

Decent yogurt. A ton of toppings! BUT nearly all toppings are stale! I have yet to find a good frozen yogurt place.

Chilaberries. I love you. Great dessert location. Love going here in the summertime and sitting outside enjoying my mountain of toppings. They have a ridiculous amount of toppings. Overwhelming even. But in a good way. And nothing NOTHING can beat the cookie dough, that is actual cookie dough, none of that balled up floured wannabe cookie dough. I love it. And I have honestly visited this place for breakfast, lunch, dinner and everything in between.

This place is sneaky, their smallest cup size is pretty big, so you always end up with a ton of frozen yogurt. They do have tasty flavors, I am a big fan of their peanut butter flavor but their frozen yogurt is more like ice cream as far as healthy is concerned. It’s higher in calories that you would think for frozen yogurt. I will say this place has every topping you could possible want and a decent selection of fresh fruits as well. My husband and I always try and get out of there with a tab under $ 10 and it’s hard, and that’s just for the two of us, kinda pricey. We like their yogurt flavors, we like their toppings, but we just wish they had smaller cups!

Moving to Mateca… was checking out the area and found this gem after a recommendation from a waitress. Needless to say, I’ll be going again. They had an unbelievable amount of options for toppings, amazing flavors, and a low price! Friendly service, not too busy… overall great place.

Chilaberries is a ‘try it once’ type of place. My daughter and I are always in search of new frozen yogurt. When we saw this one the colorful and fun sign was enough to draw us in. When I walked in I was instantly amazed with the interior. It was cheerful, playful, colorful, and down right impressive. It’s super kid friendly and definitely wowed my baby girl. Chilaberries has a whole different vibe from other fro-yo’s because they emphasized on what other places lacked: toppings. This place is toppings galore!!! Once you’ve passed the register(left) and sitting area(right) you are greeted with properly organized toppings on opposing sides. The wall to the right was covered with an array of dry ingredients varying from cookies, gummies, cereal, etc.; organized in these plastic bins– kinda like the ones you see in candy stores. To the left, they had more toppings which consisted of liquid melts such as syrup, fudge, caramel, etc. They also had a selection of fresh fruit, fruit preservatives, and canned fruits. I wasn’t a big fan of this because the fruits looked like they were soggy and had been chillen there for quick minute. Onto the more important part of my review– the yogurt! I’m not extremely picky with my yogurt, but I do have my preferences when it comes to texture, consistency, and flavoring. Well, the yogurt here failed all three so I ended up passing on it. Although they have a vast selection of flavors to choose from,(which a lot of people enjoy) they lacked in so many ways!!! The yogurt was 1.) really soft and melted quickly 2.) runny and watery– the biggest turn off! 3.) super artificial in flavoring and tasted real chemical. Lately, I’ve been leaning towards organic fro-yo spots cause they keep their shit simple. They take 3 – 6 flavors that are really popular/yummy/healthy and focus on them tasting good. It’s light, has the right amount of tartness, and is thick!!! There’s nothing worse than watery fro-yo. Quality over quantity any day. Anyway, Its hard to find good fro-yo because it’s either too tart, not tart enough, too creamy, too watery, too blah!!! Chilaberries is doing three much! They need to work on their yogurt, add a better fresh fruit bar, and it’ll be worth coming back to. Whatever, I give this place 2 stars because my daughter enjoyed herself. I personally wouldn’t come back here even if my options are limited in the Valley– I’d rather drive the 60 miles to the bay and hit up Blush Organic(love this place). YUM!!! –my baby had fruit punch, blueberry, and vanilla non-fat with some gummy bears, strawberries, peaches and raspberries. Her cup was melted down not even five minutes into it, but i figured it’d be that way since it was runny coming out of the machine. *Chilaberries: please work on the cleanliness of the restroom. I went in there and they had no toilet paper. Instead, they plopped a pile of regular napkins in a chiliberries cup on top of the toilet. The floor was WET with random puddles and it was NASTYSTICKY! It was GROSS, made me loose my appetite, but more importantly it was dangerous because there wasn’t a sign up warning you of the wet floor. My baby almost slipped and fell. I didn’t expect that from the restroom because the place itself is really nice and kept.

I live down the street from this place and have been waiting for it to open. Finally had a chance to go in today. Honestly I think it’s a bit overwhelming bit i am a simple and plain kind of girl. There are probably over 10 flavors(you can swirl some of the flavors). All are non fat. To name a few. Heath bar, vanilla, cookie dough, caramel delight, cinnamon churro, etc. They also have a BIG variety of toppings. 4 different kinds of granola, rice krispies, cereal, cookies, nuts, yogurt raisins and preztels, etc. Including fruit and syrup kind of toppings like caramel, hot fudge, marshmello crème. The place is nice and clean. Service wasn’t that great. We weren’t even greeted. Never once in the 7 minutes we were in there asked if we needed any help. I know it’s self serve but a little«hi» wouldn’t hurt. The place isn’t bad, just not my first choice in a frozen yogurt place. I don’t mind taking my .39 cents/oz someplace else.
