A-1 Keyway Lock Shop

We have been using A-​1 Keyway for 14 years. Jack is always there when we need him. He never lets us down when we are in a pinch!

I don’t agree with the fake and false reviews of this company. A1 Keyway is the only shop in town and has many keys available. Many, many residents know of this shop. I don’t believe anyone who has ever come in has ever felt anything but helped by the workers and the owner. Just come on over and see for yourself. A1 Keyway rekeys many of the businesses here in town, makes keys for oddball locks, and can help you with your lock needs too. If you don’t like that, and you feel that you can get a locksmith service from wallyworld, then go ahead. I know you will end up coming back and pay the shop their prices for services you will need one day. Fair and upfront pricing, knowledge like no other, and here for you.
I also want to add that there are a couple of unscrupulous individuals creating fake reviews under fake profiles and posting all sorts of negativity for legitimate businesses in and around San Joaquin county. Remember, that all these websites are owned by the founder of the site and since they own it, they can allow anything they want on their site. They don’t have to remove it.
Be careful what you read and believe. Be careful who you hire. At least with this physical shop here in town, you can be assured that you can walk in and get helped by a real locksmith. And if he can’t make your key, he will refer you to someone who can and you can trust that company too.
Five stars for A1 Keyway from me. I personally refer lots of people to go into his shop for lock and key services and will continue for as long as he is open.

A-​1 saved the day! Thank you! It is not often you run into a business who is genuinely concerned about helping a customer out. The norm is to make the most money from people in emergency situations. Not here! So helpful. So warm. So responsive. I will use this small local business again and most definitely recommend to my friends and family.

Five stars to A-​1! No other lock smith returned my call! I called he came in 10 minutes, fast service, kind, reasonable rates. My door was opened in a few seconds! As far as key price goes… I support his small business verses Walmart and not have to deal with all the creeps who hang out there!

Called this place to ask about getting locks re-​keyed.
The guy that answered the phone was rude.

WOW! It is hard to come by an honest person who isn’t thinking about the «almighty dollar.» Jack goes above and beyond his call of duty. Punctual, friendly, resourceful, and decent in price. He is my go to guy for now on and has my loyalty. I will never waste my time or money searching for another locksmith who may disappoint. Thank you Jack!

Charged 4.50 for a key that normally runs 2.00. I left and am now going to walmart for the rest of the keys I need. I believe Walmart keys are around a 1.50 each. I bought five more keys from walmart the other day and I am going back next week to get more duplicates for several other buildings next week.

The guy was honest and reputable. Explained what was wrong with my truck and how he would have to fix it. Fixed it for pennies! I would take all my business to him!
