It was my first time coming here and I had a great time. The owners were great our waitress was nice. We were acknowledged immediately. We had a few requests that weren’t necessarily in the menu and they were more than willing to accommodate. So, if there is something that you don’t quite like or isn’t exactly what you were wanting… just ask! They are willing to listen and consider. We came in with a party of 7.5 and ALL of us are definitely coming back.

I finally found a place in Mansfield that knows how to make a southern breakfast for asking. Service was wonderful! We found a new place to eat. The pies were really homemade and not the typical people get now a day. Great job!

Stopped by for breakfast. Pretty good spot overall. Good food, service and clean restrooms. Need to come back for lunch as the menu looked to have some good options. Breakfast menu was diverse from pancakes to Mexican style breakfast items to regular American style biscuit and gravy. Would definitely go again! I’ll update my 4 star to a 5 star when I go back a second time for lunch and it’s as good as the breakfast was!

The food was amazing I recommend the Mexican omelette, sauce has a nice little spicy taste. Blueberry muffin French toast is delicious… Something completely different made in house nice and fresh. The staff there was very friendly and attentive. We did not have to wait for anything, refills were on point. I hate sitting with an empty cup and I didn’t have to wait nor look around for my waitress. Definitely a five star!

Fish tacos with grilled veggies are a good dinner choice also polenta’s when on as a special

The service wasn’t that great. We waited s long time before getting our drinks and then our food was wrong. The food itself was okay. Nothing exciting.

Really great service and the food was wonderful! We had everything from breakfast to burgers at our table and each meal looked and was delicious. We will definitely be back!

I must say that the restaurant was clean and the wait staff was friendly. When it came to the dinner fare, however, both my husband and I found it to be bland and unappetizing. Their serving sizes were quite generous and we had high expectations but to be quite honest, it was nearly flavorless. We ordered the pork chops and pot roast. Very disappointing meal.

Called on a Sunday morning for pick up. Was told it would take 10 – 15 minute as. It was definitely more like 30. I couldn’t really find a menu on line except for other websites, they do not have their own. They gave me the banana hoecakes without any syrup. The location was easy to get to and they did have a lot of business. The Benedict and omelet was pretty good. They would have forgot my to go coffee if I didn’t ask for it. The entry way is very tight. The person filling my order was very nice, but not the most on top of it. I would give them another chance, but would like to see improvement.

Restaurant dining area is small, but the plate portions were big! Had the chicken-​fried steak, eggs, and pancakes. All of it was good. We walked right in and were seated. Super friendly staff. Son loved the «Mickey Mouse» pancake.
⁴⁄₅ stars. We will be going back at some point.

This place is great! Was a little skeptical after reading some of the reviews, but glad I have them a try. Went last Sunday for breakfast, great food and great service. Not sure what the negative reviews are about but I’ll definitely be coming back!

This place was the best! Great atmosphere. I felt like I was at home. Food was excellent. We had the pancakes and they were delicious. Best pancakes I had in awhile. The eggs were great. Sausage patties were cooked perfectly. I will definitely be back. This is my new Saturday Brunch spot!

I have visited The Porch multiple times and it has become one of my favorite breakfast spots! I love the fact that it’s BREAKFAST ALL DAY! I’m surprised this place isn’t more popular. The French Toast is good, but the fresh bread rolls are amazing. The employees are very friendly. And most of all it’s just a nice, quiet, and comfortable atmosphere. If you don’t want to deal with IHOP’s hectic mornings then come here!

Not sure if I would come back. Came and ordered the biscuits and sausage gravy and hash browns. Unlike every other place I’ve been to, the gravy was just the packaged gravy you can buy at the store, poured over sausage pieces– not real sausage gravy. The hash browns were a letdown too; they weren’t crispy and underdone. On top of that, my food came out not as hot as I expected. To top it all off, our server never came to check on us.
For a breakfast place that seems popular, I was severely disappointed.

Based on the previous reviews, I was reluctant to try it but I love the idea of breakfast all day. I showed up around 1pm so there was not a large crowd. The environment was quiet and peaceful enough for someone looking to have a quiet alone lunch or people looking to have a conversation over their meal. So it was off to a good start.
My experience went down when the food arrived. While I do have a large appetite, i only want to stuff myself with food if it’s tasty. The food was not bad, but not impressive at all to be a place that specializes in breakfast all day. I honestly may have been more pleased taste-​wise with IHOP or Denny’s. Too much of an ok thing doesn’t make it great, just never ending.
My service wasn’t the greatest either. The server forgot to bring my drink and didn’t acknowledge that I ordered it the first time when I ordered it again. I always had to chase her down when I needed something as well.
The cost was reasonable considering how much food you got, but who needs that much food?
Overall, I would not recommend this place for breakfast unless it was all that was available. It’s Not disgusting but I bet you can find a better option.

My family and I were tired of the same ol’ chain breakfast spots so we decided to try this place… Our main reason for our initial decision was due to the fact we heard they served chicken fried bacon.
Yes… You heard that correctly… Chicken… Fried… Bacon.
After thanking several different gods for this miracle we set off to try for ourselves.
Upon arrival we were immediately greeted and led to our table. The décor has much to be desired but the service and attitude of their waitstaff made up for that.
Without question we started off with the chicken fried bacon… It arrived and looked delicious. It came with gravy for dipping but our waiter said we should try dipping it in chocolate as well and brought a small serving of that as well. My wife thought the chocolate was great… I preferred the gravy. The bacon itself was thick and perfectly cooked if you don’t require overcooked crunchy bacon. The seasoning of the breeding was excellent.
I immediately regretted ordering anything else since I now wanted the bacon to just be my meal.
Eventually the rest of our food did arrive… That was pretty good to. My omelette was perfect and my wife’s breakfast was what any breakfast would be. Eggs… Bacon… Pancakes… Etc.
who cares really. If you’re going to visit the Porch. Get the chicken fried bacon and move on with your life.

–Fish and shrimp ($ 12) comes with 4 shrimp, 2 pcs of catfish, 2 sticks of hushpuppies and 2 sides. Is it bad when the sides tasted better than the main entrée? I had to dip the seafood in cocktail and tartar sauce just for flavor. The catfish was not flaky and was tough to tear apart.
–Sweet tea with lemon was delcious though!
–Prices are decent, if you’re a senior they have entrees for $ 5! Lunch is around $ 6 – 8

Compared to the great breakfast food around, this place is pretty mediocre.
The food was nothing to complain about. The usual staple omelets and bacon were good. Not greasy or undercooked. Good portions.
The service left a LOT to be desired. I had to hunt my waiter down any time I needed something so that pretty much warrants not going back.

Solo diner, breakfast today. Asked for a booth and was seated with my drink order taken immediately. My server was quick, polite and friendly.
Ordered a bacon and cheese omelet with home fries and two pancakes. The omelet was a bit dry but had a fair amount of bacon and a little less cheese than most places. The home fries were little potato cubes, deep fried, that lacked any spices or seasonings, so they were very forgettable. These two items were plated together and the way they were placed, it looked like something was missing! (See my picture)
Pancakes were ok, not super fluffy. Not super tasty, just eh.
Really thought I was going to dig this place, but for breakfast, with the ordinary choices I made, I was less than impressed. Nothing was bad, it just wasn’t belly-​warming delish like I had hoped.

Great! There’s a new place in Mansfield to eat at that I haven’t tried. Today is the day I would like to discover this new place. As I walked in they seated me right away. I thought in my mind great… The waiter came and took our drink order… Following that he took our food order. As I was sitting there I notice that the place wasn’t that busy so I was expecting my food to come out fast. 15 mins passed our good came out. Our orders came out wrong. My fiancé requested scramble eggs with cheese. They forgot the cheese and bring the cheese out separately. The waiter ask if we wanted him to take the plate back to the kitchen and put in under a heating lamp for the cheese to melt… Uncalled for… Next the other order came out wrong ask well. So in my mind I’m thinking ok that’s fine… Like whatever.
We order the catfish plate, chicken fried chicken, and a breakfast plate. Everything was so tasteless and bland. My green beans was so cold and mushy. On top of that service wasn’t great…
