Great little place for coffee or lunch in Mansfield. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about allergies. Great soups and sandwiches. We really appreciate that they have gluten free recipes and GF bread for their sandwiches.

We went on Saturday wanted to try something a little different and light. What a wonderful delight we arrived at 1:30 and they close at 2:00 but that didn’t stop them one bit. They were so great at helping me with finding what I could eat(I have allergies) took their time and checked for me to make sure no SOY and I was able to enjoy my sandwich and my husband his and we will be back. I like the atmosphere it is casual almost gives me the feeling of wanting to sit along side of the beach but that is me. Everyone from the owner, to the person making our lunch to the cashier was so kind and I knew it was okay to ask what was in the food. Happy Day a place for us to eat.

Went in for a quick lunch. Paid $ 17 for 2 sandwiches, 2 chips, and 2 drinks. Sandwiches were just ingredients from the grocery store. Chips were just mini bags of lay’s. Not sure why we paid so much. We were expecting something a bit more. The interior was very boutique-y. I was hoping for an artisan croissant or something a bit nicer than an overpriced sandwich combo. Next time I’ll just make that at home. Needless to say, wife and I were pretty disappointed.

What a quaint and cute little café! The service is fantastic. The chicken salad sandwich is excellent. The setting will take you back to a slower pace time, and the chai latte topped my experience off like icing on the cake.

I stopped in here for the first time. I had the roast beef and cheese sandwich. It was good, the star of the sandwich though, was their great, whole grain, and honey bread. I am not too sure what the brand is, but it is good. The owner is friendly, it was nice to be greeted by the owner. The décor is nice and vibrant. Overall, reasonably priced, good sandwiches, friendly staff.

Love that downtown Mansfield has this cute, quaint, local, family owned shop! Whether I’m running in for my morning coffee, or coming to enjoy lunch, I always leave satisfied. I love clean food & I love tasty coffee, so I’m happy to support a place that provides both… and to top it off, their baristas are wonderfully trained! Have nothing but great things to say about sweet lil Mary Lou’s!

They make a mean espresso. It also has a nice vibe. It feels like you’re in someone’s living room

Great local place to grab a coffee in the morning. Well prepared cup by Russ. Russ takes his coffee seriously but is always friendly. Haven’t tried lunch yet but it’s only a matter of time.

I love the idea of a cute little sandwich shop in downtown Mansfield and while Marylou’s is definitely cute, the food is seriously lacking. The menu consists of various sandwiches and a daily soup. I tried the combo with ½ a sandwich and a bowl of soup. The sandwich was basically the same one I make at home — store bought sliced bread, deli meat, cheese, and veggies. The soup(I think it was Italian Wedding) was mediocre. I could get a toasted sandwich on fresh bread from Subway for about the same price of the combo($ 6 or so). I want to like Marylou’s but it really needs something to set itself apart from all the other sandwich places in Mansfield. It’s in a convenient location for me to visit for lunch but I doubt I’ll be back unless they expand their menu.

Wow! What a perfect place for any small downtown area. The meats are hand sliced to order and they have really nice bread options. I hade turkey on a croissant with bacon and avocado. And yes, the avocado was green. Not a dark green or brown like you may find at other places. I highly recommend this place for a light lunch.

I am lucky to work close enough to MaryLou’s to eat there often. What makes this restaurant unique is that all of the food is homemade daily. No leftover sandwich spreads are served. That means the chicken salad(best you’ll ever eat) really IS the best you’ll ever eat. Melisa makes really good pimento cheese, too. But my favorite thing about this shop is that when I walk in, they know me and are glad to see me. They remember what I like(lettuce and tomato on the pimento cheese, please). Box lunches and catering are handled with ease. LOVE this place!

I’m a big fan of both chicken and egg salad, so I’m pretty picky about both flavor and texture. It is rare to find a restaurant that really nails chicken salad and nearly impossible to find one that nails both. I take my hat off to Marylou’s — you have done both well! And I love the laid-back, home town atmosphere — with WiFi ! I am sure that you will see me more than once.

I love to support local business so I decided to stop in here for lunch by myself after my children’s field day. The shop is cute and simple and exactly what I would expect for a locally owned shop in Mansfield. I was craving a turkey and cheese for about a month but because of nitrates I don’t keep deli meat in the house regularly. It’s a good thing I was craving something simple because that is exactly what they offer. My sandwich consisted of Oroweat Oat-something bread(which I was cool with because Oroweat has no HFCS), two slices of turkey clearly from a loaf like any typical deli meat, a slice of American cheese, one slice of tomato, a leaf of lettuce and typical yellow mustard. I was offered mayo as well but passed in the interest of calories. For only that sandwich I paid $ 4.80($ 5.20 w/tax). I can’t say I’m impressed since I know I could have bought a package of each of the components of the sandwich and fed my whole family lunch twice. I really love to support local business but I’d like to see something fresh made or at least a speciality item. The chips were store bought multipack variety, the sodas were in cans and the«cakes» looked identical to the ones I could buy at the grocery. Maybe the soup is made in house but my the end of May it was already too hot for soup in Texas.
