Not real pizza, but I am use to real pizza, not chain restaurant pizza. The salad bar was awful. Iceberg lettuce and a few toppings, and no low fat choices on dressings. The pizza was white bread with some sauce and cheese. The all you can eat buffet lunch isn’t worth it unless you can eat a lot, like the guy across from me, he had his plate loaded with about 10 slices. I could only eat one, and like I said, the salad was nothing to speak of.

One of the VERY best pizza places in existence. New owners are super nice and they replaced the old, snooty, sorority girl employees with nice, customer service oriented individuals. Amazing pizza & salad, along with excellent service; what more could you ask for?

After a long day working in the yard all I wanted was some great pizza and a cold glass of tea. I typically do not visit this location even though its closest to my home just because of constant issues. Little things that over time have eaten away at me and now we are here. I ordered one cheese mini, one mini combo and one small with both olives, onions and DOUBLE mushrooms. My order was repeated back to me, correctly, and I was certainly charged correctly including the .25 cents per to go box charge. What I received was a cheese pizza with a shameful amount of cheese and a small with NO mushrooms, I ordered DOUBLE. Now, shame on me for not double checking my order before I left, however I was exhausted and just wanted to get home. These little things, including sub par portions, missing ingredients, extra charges for to go boxes(how else do you take a pizza home) crust that’s dry and unseasoned and soggy bottom crust have pushed me to my limit. I will visit the original Mama’s pizza on Berry and drive an extra 20 min from now on.

Don’t come when it’s busy. The staff doesn’t seem to be able to distinguish between orders. They just blindly bringing out what their given. While we were there, there were 4 different orders(including ours) that were all jumbled together. One table got one of ours; the rest of our order was brought out under a different name(the ticket with that name wasn’t even what she had in her hand); when we told them about it, the kids behind the counter just shrugged and said they would remake it which is like 15 minutes. I just don’t think they can keep up with the volume. I’m sure they’re great on a slow night, but Friday dinner was a disaster. The pizza was good(get the thin crust) but we will rethink on a weekend night.

Excellent pizza and cinnamon rolls on the lunch buffet! Lunch buffet Monday — Saturday 11AM — 2PM. We have passed this pizza joint hundreds of time. Very glad we stopped in today for lunch. Buffet price includes the drink.

I ordered a gluten free pizza, and the same night I got sick with my symptoms of my allergy.

I cannot get enough of Mama’s Pizza. It’s amazing. When they brought a location to Mansfield, I jumped up and down. In every experience, they’ve been so polite and quick. My most recent experience made my day — I took my son there just the two of us. We ordered some pizzas to go, and while we waited I let him play video games(the entire reason we didn’t call ahead). The girl who took care of our order was so attentive to make sure it was right, that we got everything we asked for, and that we didn’t feel we were waiting too long unacknowledged. Of course the time waiting was standard, I don’t think I’ve ever had slow service at Mama’s. I’m not sure if the man working there was the manager or owner, but he was just so nice to both of us, engaging with my son about the video games, and very kind. It was an especially good visit, and I really appreciate it!!!

If you like REAL pizza then this is the place! But order and take it home. Yes the inside is boring… Yes it takes for ever… If CiCi’s is your favorite then keep going to CiCi’s! Mama’s is more $ bit to me it’s better.

Visited on a Sunday evening. Ordered a large pepperoni, sausage, and onion pizza. Came out on time and tasted great! It wasn’t terribly busy so we didn’t have to wait for anything. They also have $ 2.75 beers(less than a pint) which is a good price. Overall, chill atmosphere with good pizza. I didn’t have terribly high expectations but it did meet the ones I had! We’ll be back.

I love my pizza… This pizza is pretty decent, a little saucy for my personal taste. Unfortunately, my pizza and cheesestick enjoyment was clouded by steep prices, no dr pepper syrup, ‘I don’t have two f’s to give’ service, and an issue with marinara sauce… Will I return? I’m really not sure… I feel like a small business such as this would be more inclined to work a little at harder at establishing a loyal customer base. Guess they don’t really need my business…

Pizza is a little greasy and service isn’t that stellar. The host was nice enough but didn’t seem like she wanted to be here. I ordered cheese sticks which didn’t come with marinara sauce so I purchased some for 50 cents. It was cold out of the fridge. I then asked to warm it up… Then it was brought back to my table by the cook I believe who was also nice but it was still ice cold. It cost us 27 dollars for two small pizza and some cheese sticks well 27.50. We won’t be returning.

Pizza was good, not great. Prefer over the other name brands out there. Good value buy with selection of ingredients. Not much else on the menu other than pizza and salad. If you’re looking for good consistent pizza this is your place. I you want a wider menu selection probably not.

Great food! Mama’s is our favorite for carry-out pizza. Their lunch buffet is also great.

We had a very poor experience this evening at Mama’s pizza. We came in and ordered a large supreme pizza to go. We were told that it would be 20 – 25 min wait for the food, which seemed a bit long, but we didn’t call ahead, so we agreed. We sat down at a nearby table to wait. There was a large group of teenagers at the other end of the restaurant who were very loud and yelling at each other. The group were playing video games, yelling, arm wrestling, and jumping over the tables(the entire 25 min we waited). The noise level was equivalent to a loud bar or school cafeteria, definitely not what I want to listen to while I dine. Another couple who were sitting at a nearby table, actually got a box for their pizza, and left. I overheard them complain about the noise level. The young girls working seemed oblivious and the manager just ignored them and was eating pizza behind the counter. We also complained and the manager said he’d considered saying something to them, but just didn’t !?! We will not be back. That is not the dining experience I want to have on a Sunday evening. We love the pizza, but will visit the location in Arlington.

I was extremely disappointed. The pizza didn’t taste like anything. I asked for light sauce but they didn’t put any on there. I added bacon but it still didn’t help the pizza. The crust was beyond bland and furthermore they messed up my order. I will not return. I should have gone with my first mind, Trio’s.

Great pizza! It’s so good I’ve seen children eat the crust! It truly is the crust, cheese and sauce that makes this pizza great! It’s a little pricey and calories are more than you need, but it’s worth it.

The pizza at this location isn’t as good as the original off Fielder. The service was bad, and the inside looked more like a Cici’s. Doesnt have the same atmosphere as the other location. I wouldn’t want to meet friends at this place to share a pizza and some beers.

Excellent pizza in a very much ‘hole in the wall’ décor. The inside looks a bit like a cafeteria, with old faux hardwood table and padded chairs. If you can get past the surroundings, the pizza is excellent, although more basic types of pizza probably won’t impress as much as those with a healthy serving of toppings. The cheese is never-ending, which seems a rarity these days, and the crust is crunch and chewy at the same time. They also offer a think crust. Very quick service although it does get busy on weekend nights. Very good pizza, free refills. One other note: the subs are smallish and of the one I tried, not all that different tasing from the Pizza oddly enough, but I didn’t go there for the sub ;) Will definitely go back to this one.

Service — 3 Stars Food — 4 Stars Creamy Italian Dipping Dressing(Dipping Sauce) — 4 Stars Mama’s, How I Luv Ya, How I Luv Ya, My Dear Old Mama’s Follow the bouncing ball!(I bet nobody will get that reference!) Since I am paraphrasing that little ol’ tune made famous by Al Jolsen,(another ancient reference), who did it in blackface(politically incorrect!), it must be that I’m in a nostalgic mood! Why? Because of Mammie’s(oops) Mama’s Pizza! I can’t help it, good old Mama’s has been in the Fort Worth area for untold years(since 1969) and I still love it’s unique taste. Nothing like it in this universe. I know it’s only garlic, butter, yeast, water and bread, but however differently they do it – they do it great! Now I’ve read that some people don’t appreciate the unique and special taste of a Mama’s crust. Well — let them eat Mr. Jim’s!(a horrible fate). Me, I’ll have a Mama’s size, 20″ inches of molten cheese and fresh toppings. That’s enough for 3 meals for me and the wife.(she doesn’t eat as much as me) I found that there’s a print out coupon on their website for $ 4 off a Mama’s size. So I can get 3 meals out of a $ 20. How’s that for cheap without having to eat a cardboard tasting frozen pizza from the grocery store? But the most important tip of all is to pay the extra 25 cents and get the side of creamy Italian dressing to eat with your pizza. The dressing at this location was just a little thick. It was OK if you were a tip dipper.(Dip the tip of the pizza slice in the dressing) But it didn’t do well for pouring over the top of the pizza toppings, like I do. But to each his own. So, even if you weren’t born when they used to have sing-a-longs in movie theaters,(the bouncing ball would follow along the printed words in cadence with the music and words, kind of like an early karaōke), you can still enjoy a really great pizza at ridiculously cheap prices. Caveat! If you’re watching your weight — this ain’t the pizza for you.
