Einstein Bros Bagels

Clean restaurant with friendly and prompt staff! Barista upgraded to me a large mocha for free-​a great way to start my day! Quick service and fresh food. Would like a nice covered outdoor area with fans when it gets warmer.

It’s always good to stop by and order a quick bagel. They have a large selection of many different kinds of bagel. From blueberry to jalapeños and my favorite the thin everything bagel. If you order a dozen it even include a tube of cream cheese with your order. They even carry different items on their menu for breakfast and lunch as well, just not bagels only.
So I decided to go thur the drive thru today and pick up a dozen of my thin everything bagel. Yummy, I got my breakfast fix for myself and my staffs as well. I got to my office and open my bag … The bagel was slightly hard. Does this mean that the bagel is overlooked or was it a day old. I never had this happen to me at other location but this was my first time visiting this one. But I had to toast mines up because I like it hot. Of course it got harder and I ended up not having any…

I come here 3 mornings a week for my blueberry fix. Customer service in the mornings is non existent. No eye contact, smiles, or «have a good day». They are short with me when ordering and I feel like I’m annoying them by giving them my money. If you have questions about the menu wait until after 1, that’s when they seem to be friendlier as I’ve stopped here a couple of times for lunch as well. The food is great and I would give at least 4 stars for this but the customer service is seriously disappointing so I give this location a 1.

Having lived in the NYC-​area for over a decade now, I guess my expectations of a bagel place have risen dramatically over that period of time so I’m going to temper my review and give Einstein Bros a little break. That’s because I do the same when I check out a BBQ joint in the NYC-​area after having enjoyed (way too) many BBQ joints from having spent most of my life in the GREAT state of Texas.
First off, kudos to them for the wide selection of bagels, shmears, sandwiches, etc. they offer. If you’re in a hurry and are not a regular of Einstein’s, I’d strongly suggest you look at the menu beforehand and try to decide what you want. That is doubly so if you are ordering for a group. There’s just way too much to choose from and that can be a good thing but it can also be a bad thing.
On this occasion, my bro picked up an order for about 5 of us so we had an assortment of bagels, shmears, and breakfast sandwiches. We were all pleased with what we ordered. Like most food, it’s probably best eaten immediately, on-​site, but the 10-​minute drive back to the house didn’t ruin the food.
Einstein Bros is a good (if not great) option for your bagel fix… even if you’re from the Big Apple.

Love this place. Being from NJ i have been looking for a bagel place forever. Always fresh and they even slice them for you. Good selection and friendly staff. good coffee and wifi. Worth a stop.

The food is good, but customer service is poor.
