Dickeys is a chain BBQ place and I was asked to stop here. It would not have been my choice. I picked up a pound and a half of ribs, baked beans and cole slaw. I only ate one of the ribs and it was only OK, it was on the dry side even with the included BBQ sauce which was quite flavorful. I did not have any beans or cole slaw but one of the people that tried it didn’t really like it. Maybe I will give them anither try but if I have ohter options I would try them first.

I live in the bordering neighborhood and get food(from the drive thru) probably once a month or so. Food has always been good, and usually pretty fast service. The mashed potato side is yummy!

I have been here at the location now about 3 times. Each time around 4pm. I enjoyed it each time. The guy that greats you is warm and welcoming and seems like he enjoys his job. The sweet tea is good. The brisket sandwich is good. Overall a decent lunch spot. It is BBQ so you won’t get out of here under ten bucks for lunch though

Taste was ok but a bit dry. Just a guess but maybe they don’t sell enough brisket to keep it fresh from the smoker. Portions are too small for the cost. They actually use a scale to weigh the portions. The guy seemed to be very precise on his brisket weighing; tearing it into little pieces and dropping them in the scale one little piece at a time until he got it just right.

The brisket had a paper taste to it and no smoke. The ribs were good and had a little smoke. Way too expensive however. Our bill was $ 30 and that was with the two kids eating free! They were more stingy with their portions compared to the North Arlington store or the South Cooper store. We will not be coming here again.

Have you been to Dickey’s before? You probably have. The food is the same at each one. The only difference is the food’s freshness and the customer service. Their food is fresh and always tasty, this is a good Dickey’s. I’ve eaten Dickeys forever, so rather than go on food, I’m rating this place five stars because of customer service. I love good bbq chicken and turkey. I can not eat beef products without getting very sick. They have gone out of their way to accommodate me and prepare my poultry without worrying about getting beef fat or lots of beef juice in my meal. They’re super awesome about it too. I finally explained to the guy that cuts meat why I ask for the tray to be wiped down and a fresh knife and apologized for any inconvenience. He was very polite, smiled, and told me that he just wanted me to be happy with my food. The way he said it was genuine. I appreciate that! The staff is really nice. I like them. We go there a lot. They’ll greet you when you walk in and smile while you’re ordering. You can replicate the food in any other town. Good service is key. Why do I keep going back several times a week some weeks? I go because I am treated well.

Decent food but way way way way expensive. For some reason this new store on East Broad St in Mansfield seems much pricier than the other stores I’ve visited. My recent stop had me ordering a chopped beef sandwich called a Junior or something like that. For a mere $ 4.99 you get a bun filled with some meat and your choice of toppings. The meat I chose was brisket and while tender, juicy and flavorful, lacked any real smokiness to it. I think I’ll stick to Hammer’s BBQ and Beverages just up the road a bit

Glad to see more restaurants are moving further south giving those of us who live down here more choices.
