I’m a former patient and I must say I will never return here ever again. Dr. Smith is rude, incompetent, disrespectful and arrogant! His office staff is trash with poor customer service skills. He should relocate or invest in some cultural sensitivity training and improve his customer service skills as well as his poor staffs skills. Do yourself a favor and find another doctor. He’s not worth your time and money!

This is regarding the Fort Worth office on Hulen. Wow. What a mess! I really wanted to like this office but I have to give it 1 star. The start of things was incredibly promising– I was led around by one of the floor staff who seemed like she knew which glasses I was looking for. I settled on a pair of Anne Klein’s that looked pretty good! I was excited to get my new glasses. And waited. And waited. I was assured that they would be ready in 3 – 5 days, but it took about 1 week. Still not bad, and I wasn’t going to dock them points for that. I came back and got my glasses and wore them for a good week. Unfortunately, the bridge of the glasses and the nose piece turned out to be far too low and flat for my face structure, and I ended up having to push my glasses up every few seconds. And for fellow glasses wearers, you know exactly how uncomfortable that can be! I came back hoping that it was just a matter of adjustments needed. Unfortunately, it was not, and the glasses kept on sliding down. I came back a third time to try and work something out and to ask about a refund or replacement. The lady I spoke to at the desk seemed completely unaware of what to do and stated that they did not have a store policy on refunds for unsatisfied customers. She told me «Most of the customers like their glasses». This is very strange to me that there was no set policy on returns or exchanges. Most optometrists have this set in place, and a majority have a 30 day no questions asked refund or replacement for unsatisfied customers. Thus, I had to make a fourth trip out to talk to the other members of the floor staff and the optometrist himself. When I came back in and explained the situation to them, it was extremely uncomfortable. The front desk worker was not very receptive and seemed extremely confused, and kept telling me she could try to adjust them(already tried that!). After she told me to have a seat so she could talk to the optometrist, I could hear her speaking to the other front desk worker about me while I was within earshot about her disbelief about why I was unsatisfied with my glasses. I found this extraordinarily rude, and felt completely ridiculed. The one saving grace was that Dr. Smith agreed to set new lenses into my old frames, stating that it was no problem. The kicker? No refund for the frame cost. Because my insurance picked up the majority of the cost on my frames, I wasn’t about to waste any more time or energy in attempting to get a refund. So in the end, I spent around 180 dollars getting new lenses put into my old frames. Something that I know Costco offers for around 80 dollars. Next time, I suppose I’ll go to a more reputable business that offers their customers expertise on how the frames fit on their customer’s faces and a bit more business savvy. Completely disappointed.

I had an eye exam for contact lenses and glasses. The office is warm and inviting. The front desk staff is very friendly. Dr. Smith is very precise and informative. I feel like he is looking to correct my vision and is concerned with my eye health. You won’t feel like a number here.
