Leal’s Tire

I got a surprise flat on Sunday night (love that Austin construction) and had my bf put my spare on. I knew I couldnt ride around with it, and was researching my options.
Bf suggested I try Leal’s so I stopped by first thing on Monday morning hoping they could patch it up. I pulled up at 8:23am and one other person was being helped before me. I explained the situation to the female attendant and she said she’d have one of the guys see if it could be patched.
By 8:44am I was driving away! They found the issue, patched it up, put the original tire back on my truck, and mounted the spare back underneath my truck in 20 minutes. And the cost?
*drumroll*
10 DOLLARS!
I am officially a customer for life.
Update: the day after writing this I was driving and heard a strange sound from the back of my car. Pulled over and checked it out and saw my spare dangling on the line. Obviously it wasnt secured properly. That’s why I deducted one star. I still think they do good work and will go back, but I’ll eyeball things a bit before driving off

I do not live in Manor, or maybe I’d be able to give Leal’s a chance at redemption. My daughter had a dance recital at the Manor High School auditorium, and I managed to acquire a large chunk of metal in my tire on the way there. Upon discovering this I immediately consulted Unilocal!for a decent tire shop in the area, seeing as how it was almost 6 o’ clock and I needed to get somewhere fast. A few closed at 6, but I was very pleased to discover that Leal’s was listed as 6:30, and was only 2 blocks away from me!
Sad ending:
The guy comes out as I walk up and tells me that they’re closed. When I show him the listing that clearly displays the closing time as 6:30pm he points to his boss across the parking lot. When I ask him for a quick patch on my tire he tells me «no, closed». To which I reply «you decided to close early today? My wife and kids are in the car and I’m about to be stranded in Manor overnight». His eloquent response, «no, closed» was almost enough to set me completely over the edge, instead, I’m writing this.
PLEASE FOR THE SAKE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY DO NOT EVER CHOOSE LEAL’S TIRE SERVICE FOR ANY OF YOUR TIRE OR VEHICLE MAINTENANCE NEEDS. THESE ARE THE TYPE OF PEOPLE THAT WILL GLADLY LEAVE YOU AND YOUR CHILDREN STRANDED ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD IN A TOWN THAT YOU DO NOT LIVE IN.

Had 5 tires and wheels balanced and mounted to replace the stock ones on my jeep. The guys got the job done in less than an hour and even bought my old rims making the final price really great. I’d gladly have them fix a flat or do a rotation. Also, they do take credit cards.
