Weiss Savedoff & Ciccone Doctors Of Optometry

I went to see Dr. Savedoff for a regular eye exam. His office refused to bill my eye insurance and instead, billed my health insurance for HUNDREDS of dollars of «Medical Testing.» They also gave me a bill for nearly $ 500 which they wanted me to pay for out-​of-​pocket.
Dr. Savedoff told me this testing was necessary because I had a «spot on my retina.»
I have been going for regular eye visits yearly my entire life and have never once been told about a spot on my retina. Their manager, an older, short woman with short brown hair, was incredibly rude and proceeded to scream at me when I questioned how ONE regular eye exam could end up costing nearly $ 1,000.00.
I will never be going back to this office. I now go to America’s Best on West Genesee Street — they are incredibly friendly and incredibly AFFORDABLE.
