Always our favorite pizza. Fan of the all meat, house and chicken bacon ranch. Delivery is 30 – 45 minutes though on a week night.

Man, I miss Gary’s. There’s just something about the people who work here and the food that makes it a memorable place. Now, I’ll admit the pizza isn’t the best quality, and if you’re going to order from here make sure it’s some kind of specialty pizza — not a standard pepperoni and cheese or something like that. The chicken wings, boneless in particular, are actually pretty good. I really like the quantity they give you. Their hours cannot be beat. They are open very late during the week, so for those nights you drink too much because finals make you hurt inside, Gary is here for you. It’s gonna be okay. Just be willing to wait a long time, because on average, my orders did not arrive until 50 – 70 minutes after I ordered online. But hey, if you’re willing to wait, the food is still pretty hot when it gets to your door. I personally recommend the mozz cheese/jalapeño pizza, or the house special.

I absolutely LOVE this place! I went to MSU and moved away years ago. When I come back to visit, Gary’s always brings back fun memories and is deliciously amazing with the same quality I expect. Their late delivery hours are much appreciated too. Please don’t ever change!

Gary’s is probably the best pizza place in Mankato! There garlic pizza will blow your mind! Make sure if you order sausage you tell them you want Italian sausage because they use breakfast sausage if you don’t specify.

I ended up at a Mankato hotel while on a road trip through the country. Gary’s Pizza had an ad in the hotel room, so I decided to try them out using my pizza-parlor test, which generally consists of a simple pizza with a few meats and whatever bread they recommend. This ended up being a small pizza with pepperoni, sausage and black olives, and an order of cheesy garlic bread. The order arrived very promptly, which was suspicious. The delivery guy was very friendly though he forgot my drink in the car and had to go back and get it. The pizza was appetizing to look at, though slightly squished to the side of the box(noted by a fellow review enthusiast). This showed what I believe is a lack of care. Even though the pizza was fresh, it still had a common low-end pizza flaw… half the time, detaching a piece from the rest of the pie would result in the toppings from the piece you’re taking being dragged off, which leaves you with pizza sauce and dough. This is a mark of low quality cheese and again, a lack of care in the preparation. Quite disappointing. The cheesy garlic bread barely merits a sentence, but suffice it to say that the cheese(at minimum, most likely ALL of the ingredients) was frozen before being added to the bread, as I could easily taste freezer burn. The taste would have been good if the ingredients were fresh, but it was very low quality as is. The bread was also old. I would not recommend Gary’s at all, unless you’re absolutely desperate and can’t find an open C-Store for some Munchos and a Coke. Speaking of Coke, the Dr. Pepper that I ordered with the meal was quite good, most likely because the contents of the bottle hadn’t been touched by the pizzaria’s employees.
