Went back two times and both times bring your ear plugs because it is so lout you cannot even enjoy your dining experience. The food is great very decently priced. Bar is very small hasnt been updated just not your over the top building.

Good food. .but a bit pricey for lunch. I think a lunch menu with smaller portions would be nice. Waitress asked if we needed anything more– a bit too often.

I really enjoyed this place and the food. When you get there, you grab a drink at the bar and they take your order. Soon you go to your table in the dining room. Cute décor. I had the sausage and pepper soup. Spicy with sausage, small pasta and vegetables. Get the garlic bread with cheese. They did not rush us. I got the penne with meatball ½ order. The meatball was huge and the meat sauce tasted fresh and had a lot of flavor. Good, polite service.

Gluten free pizza and pasta! Outstanding. They know what they’re doing as they have gluten free family members. Amazing and fresh. Try a gf white pizza with extra mushrooms, Parmesan, light onion, a bit of fresh tomato and olives. Add garlic if you like. So much to choose from.

Good service… burgers don’t have much taste. Fries cooked just right. Delicious garlic bread. The restaurant is a bit outdated but is clean.

Pizza is very good and I like to get it to go. If I am eating there I can’t pass up the meatball marinara. Wow! 3 huge well prepared meatballs with cheese and sauce. Pasta on the side. What a great meal!

On our visit, we tried the pizza for a change. Was very good. If a pizza fan I recommend it. Going forward I will stay with the dinner menu. You order your dinner at the bar and when they have room in dinning room and you food is almost ready, they seat you.

I’ve been there twice. The first time I went was dreadful. Everyone else at my table was at least halfway through their meal when I first got my pizza. The owner of the restaurant was there, but didn’t offer to so much as buy me a drink for my wait. I ordered the taco pizza and it was about C– quality, not appetizing at all. I visited town again and some good friends convinced me to try it again, because they liked it, so we did. This time, it was only slightly better. My food was on time, but my dish was very average. If you want Italian in Manitowoc, go to Tony’s.

My husband and I were hungry for Italian food the night we stayed in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. We saw the advertisement at the motel and were told that it was more«authentic» than another restaurant in town. We followed directions(which seemed farther away than it should have been) and found the restaurant. We parked in back of the restaurant and as we walked around the front door smelled something awful. We looked to our right and saw a huge pile of aging manure. Oh well, we thought — we are in Wisconsin, after all. I don’t really remember the décor of the place — although it reminded me of most Wisconsin restaurants I’ve been in, down to the paper place mats. I was afraid to put my purse on the floor because the floor looked so filthy. I ordered a glass of chianti and my husband ordered a beer. The Chianti was warm(not good warm, but bad warm) and sweet. For dinner my husband ordered a calzone and I ordered pasta puttanesca. I thought the calzone was fine — although my husband didn’t like the dough and said the spaghetti sauce was very sweet. My pasta puttanesca was inedible. Instead of using Kalamata olives and capers they put, what looked like, a jar of chopped up Spanish olives, including brine, in with the sickly sweet spaghetti sauce. The pasta itself was overcooked. The only thing I didn’t hate about the meal was the Caprese salad — but even the balsamic vinegar was sickly sweet and the tomatoes were not as flavorful as they should have been in early September. It is possible I just ordered the wrong thing, but I really didn’t see anything on the menu that appealed to me except the pasta I ordered. Given the glowing reviews, I guess I don’t «get» authentic family owned Italian restaurants in Wisconsin.

One of the better restaurants in Manitowoc, not a chain and portions are close to family style, order a few different items and share. Would definitely make it one of our favorites when in town.

This is by far the best italian restaurant I’ve been to in Wisconsin! The staff is so friendly and the food is delicious. I’ve had so many of the items on the menu and have never been dissapointed. The pizza is super, pasta is superb, everything is great. The weekly specials are delicious. I came across one pasta dish that was to die for! When it was no longer a special, I asked the waitress if I should still order it, and of course they allowed me to. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Great Italian restaurant — family owned and very family friendly. Be prepared to order your food at the bar area and have them come and seat you right before the food is due to arrive.
