This carts been all over the place since is opened. It started at 56th and Madison, then i guess moved down to Soho, and this weeks its been at 47th and 3rd, where i was finally able to try them. I had one of each taco, chicken, beef, and spicy pork. The tacos come with pico de gallo, lettuce, cheese, kimchi, and either a mayo or spicy mayo type sauce. It takes a little while for them to cook your food and put the tacos together. There were 3 people in front of me, and in total it probably took about 10 minutes between getting in line and receiving my food. They individual wrap the tacos in tin foil which i appreciate. The tacos look pretty messy when you open the foil, mostly because they put a ton of the spicy mayo on it and it gets everywhere. But i dont care how it looks, its all about the taste, and these definitely pass the test. They put a lot of meat in the tortilla, more than i’ve had from any other truck or cart. Between the pile of meat and all of the toppings, you can’t really close the tortilla, and since it is a single tortilla it can be a little difficult to eat, you’ll definitely want a table. The meat itself is pretty good, but not the best. I prefer the spicy pork at Korilla, but it wasn’t bad here. The best one was definitely the beef. The spicy mayo sauce they use is almost identical to korilla sauce, which i love. Like i said before, they dont hold back on the spicy mayo and it has a great kick. Next time i wouldn’t get lettuce. Theres already kimchi on the taco, and the lettuce just makes the taco harder and messier to eat without adding anything to the taste. This cart is definitely worth checking out.

Yogi is a new Korean street cart in Soho serving up spicy pork, beef, and chicken in tacos, gyros, or on white/fried rice. Think of it as a non-foodie /non-trendy version of Korilla(and with no lines by the way). I ordered a spicy pork and beef taco with the works. This includes a healthy portion of meat, shredded cheese, iceberg lettuce, tomato chunks, kimchi, and halal-style white sauce on a flour tortilla. Seems like a strange combo, but it works. The cheese adds a nice dimension to the beef taco, but its favor is muted in the spicy pork taco. The pork and beef quality is great and the chicken teriyaki looked even better sizzling on the grill. The tacos run $ 2.50 — $ 3.00 with the rice dishes at $ 6.00. Kimchi topping is free. The staff is nice and happy to talk food with you. My Korean colleague is in agreement that this food is legit and we’ll be back.
