This place is really good, incredibly honest and excellent service. Have used them for two years and never had a single problem.

This review is for wash and fold laundry. I haven’t tried the dry cleaning. The man there is very sweet, the price for laundry is cheaper than most places around that rip you off. It’s $.75 per lbs. service is very reliable and I’ve never had an issue. Highly Recommend!

They burned the tip of the collar of a tailored shirt. When I brought it back the owner said they’d try to fix it. When it came back the second time, still burned, he insisted on charging me for the second round as well. You might save a buck on your cleaning but is it worth destroying your clothing?

It was recommended I come here as it is cheaper. Ok to it’s cheap but the ironing job was worse than expected. I asked for a pair of pants to get stitched, I got blue stitching on black professional pants. I also asked for a button to replace a missing one. I got the button but then in the dry cleaning process the latches were ripped off. I had to take back to get it fixed the job was mediocre to say the least and there is still a hole they didn’t bother to fix. Do not go here.

I tried this place after reading some reviews suggesting that place would be okay. Not so. 1. Of the three dress shirts I brought in for dry cleaning, all three of them are wrinkly. What is the point of paying 4.75 per shirt if you still have to iron them when you get home? 2. One shirt came back with a large brown stain right on the front of the collar. 3. I brought a nice suit jacket in for dry cleaning(hanging on a decently nice wooden hangar… you know, so the shoulders don’t get ruined by hanging on a cheap wire hangar). He returned the shirt to me on a cheap wire hangar, and now the jacket has creases on the shoulders. And I have a job interview today. 4. Everything smells weird. And not like cleaning-chemical smells. Like strange smoky smells. I feel guilty leaving a bad review, but I would rather prevent other people from getting the same terrible experience.

I think I have now been to most of the dry cleaners in the Columbia Campus area. I can only say this: none of them are great. They all do about the same mediocre job so for me it comes down to price. This is the best place to take suits, overcoats, sweaters and just about everything that isn’t a men’s dress shirts. Now this place does charge the same for men’s dress shirts as women’s blouses(and I’m all for the equality) but Bön French – which is right around the corner – charges considerably less for dress shirts. I take my dress shirts their and everything else to this place.

Quite affordable at $ 2 per dress shirt. However, they *stapled* little paper tags to the bottom of the two of my shirts. No lasting damage save for 2 small holes far below the waist, but come on.

This place is great — there are very few laundromat/dry cleaners available in the Columbia area, and Bön French on Broadway(right around the corner) is very overpriced. Ying Koon is run by a husband and wife, who are very sweet and honest. It’s in the basement level and is quite easy to miss. Today, I took in a coat that needed some mending. I had previously taken the same coat to a laundromat in Murray Hill — they charged me something like $ 20 and did a terrible job. The lady at Ying Koon patiently listened to my specifications, offered to do the job in two hours for $ 5, and did a wonderful job. I haven’t tried all their services, but have been told that they are good with men’s shirts and pants(regular laundry). Also, a friend once left a tote bag there and didn’t even realize until a week later. They had kept his bag safely in a closet and returned it to him immediately!
