I eventually had my deposit returned with the help of my credit card company. Dinosaurhaus did not dispute the refund They also emailed me to say that they have hired more staff to handle guests inquiries as it was overwhelming last year

Avoid at all costs. I booked 26 days in advance through a major online booking company, under the terms of 50% upfront and 50% at check-in. A week before my departure, I had received no information as to how to get into the apartment. My repeated phone calls were answered by an answering service who promised that«Martine» would call me back, but she never did. Emails went unanswered. Two days before departure I still had no idea how to get into the apartment and was beginning to suspect the apartment didn’t exist. I had no choice but to cancel the reservation and book a hotel. Weeks later, I have asked repeatedly for a refund. Under the terms of the contract, I am owed 50%, but the contract was violated at its start by charging my card 100%, and by the owner’s(Martine Lacroix) demonstrated inability to provide the service paid for. After ignoring me for weeks, she finally replied with emails saying that she didn’t owe me because I had cancelled. She did not dispute that she owed me at least 50%, but has refunded nothing and, again, is not answering emails or phone calls.
