TPNY really came through for me in preparing for my Boards at the end of nursing school. They were focused & extraodinarily responsive to the pressures and fatigue I was under. I felt I was in excellent, experienced hands that were honed to my individual intellectual style as well. I was particularly impressed with the relaxation and focusing techniques they provide. I was an older adult student changing careers at midlife and didn’t realize how much anxiety & tension were thwarting my best clear thinking. The NCLEX (national licensing boards for nursing) is a test where you get from 75 – 265 questions and you then get one score: pass or fail. The test calculates at each point if you are exhibiting adequate knowledge for safe nursing practice and if it’s not sure you keep getting questions. My test ended right at 75 with a «Pass» so I couldn’t have done better. I know people who got all 265 questions and still passed and others who got only 130 or so and failed but I was spared all of that anxiety by using the TPNY support system on top of hours of book studying. (Of course the TPNY techniques help with basic studying too as you retain better once you are at your top focusing). The only regret I have about TPNY is that I didn’t discover it earlier in my student days. I have used many techniques from TPNY in my new professional role too as I am required to continue learning and prioritizing information constantly (under distractions, pressure & fatigue – all part of successful nursing, ha). Talk to them – they prepare the whole person.
