TD Bank

This branch is in an extremely convenient place and the customer service is always great.
You will not wait for more than a few minutes to be helped by one the tellers or managers.
Trust me.

This has been my bank for years. The tellers and the customer service reps have always been nice and efficient.
But, the manager is the worst. Patricia. She is rude, tactless and never calls back. She has lied to my face. She is the whole reason I am writing this Unilocal review.
Go to a different branch.

Well, it’s a bank, not much more I can say about it. I’m just reviewing it mainly because Unilocal kept telling me to.
As far as this particular branch goes, the hours are good, they’re nice in there and I’ve never really had any trouble with them like I’ve had with other banks with which I’ve done business in the past. Also the lines, on the odd occasion when there is a line, move pretty quickly. AND… as you can see from the pic I posted, I can see my bank from my house!
As for TD Bank itself, they have convenient branches in most of the different states to which I regularly travel and spend time in, their website is well laid-​out, thorough and easy to navigate and the minimums they require to avoid fees are relatively low. Why just three stars then, you ask? Their interest rates are shit. I mean, like next-​to-​nuthin’ shit. But then again, so are pretty much all banks’ rates in NY. If you’re going to get crap interest, you may as well at least have your bank be a pleasant experience and TD Bank is about as good as you’re gonna get in that department in NYC.

This bank is the worst. Customer service is non-​existent. They promised to waive a service charge for me, and went back on their word, even after I showed them an email which confirmed the waiver. They refused to give me a transitional credit on my Visa, after I broke a tooth from a Chinese restaurant that put metal in my food. I am closing my account. I don’t care how many banks they take over. They used to be good. They certainly suck now. Chimpanzees would do a better job than the idiots who answer the phone and reply on the internet.
