As I was walking home one night, I poked my head into this establishment – the front door was wide open and the warm light was spilling out onto Ave A.
I had just stumbled onto a gold mine. Trippy, psychedelic 3-​D photos covered the walls. A long-​haired chihuahua named Tiger moseyed over and sniffed my hand. There was even a mini movie set for a 3-​D movie with a clay-​doh Loch Ness monster gliding among clouds in the middle of the room.
The owner Henry was busy on the phone, but his staff were more than eager to talk to me about his work, all of which is for sale. Apparently, Henry pioneered the «fly’s eye view» technique of developing photos (you should visit this place, just to see that, if anything) and even the NY Times wrote an article about his awesomeness. There is also one rack of women’s shirts for sale for $ 10 a piece for you thrifters out there.
Oh, what I’d do to transplant all the art in SnakeMonkey (including Tiger, who is soooo soft and calm) into my apartment which is a half block away! I guess I’ll just have to visit more often and pretend.
