The so called supervisor on duty, I think she said her name was, Laquasia, has no knowledge of their own policies. The consensus online is they do price match but she refused to price match. Even after one employee telling me they do. Do not go there with the intention of getting something price matched as they will give you a hard time. I think CVS is a little better in that respect. I simply went straight to Target.

Pharmacy department is really great – very nice /wise people there. But the non-alcoholic beverage selection is deplorable.

I am giving 3 stars because the pharmacy peeps here deserve the full 5. I only come here to use the pharmacy. It’s in and out and they practically know you by your first name, it’s great.(And the pharmacy team all around are a super nice group of people who are in there working their asses off non-stop.) However the rest of the rite aid sucks. It’s main problem is lack of staff, it would seem, as there are always ridiculously long lines, to the point of «screw it,» and then off to St. Jesus or Duane Reade. I recommend going here to use the pharmacy. However I would go elsewhere for other drug store purchases.

Went to this Rite Aid to buy a few items, came out empty handed. It’s so disorganized in there.

Never, ever, ever enter this store. Every time I go they were out of at least 1 item that I went there to get. Every time shelves are half empty. The store is a disgrace and so is the manager. I walk to the rite aid on 170th street with a huge line instead.

Don’t ever send photos into this location to be printed… I don’t know what goes on behind the counter but both times I sent in an order(consisting of only 2 photos), they misplaced one. Then they proceeded to hold up random pictures asking if they were my missing one(none of them were… and why are there so many unmatched photos?!?) The second time, they wouldn’t believe that there should have been two pictures though the order clearly stated there should be. On top of that, the photo I did receive was covered in little overexposed light spots… meaning they don’t bother to clean the printer or even check that the photos have printed in an expectable manor. Save your money and your sanity.

The Load2Card confuses the cashiers to no end. If I say that I should have a 4 dollar +UpReward to apply to my purchase when I see that the discount isn’t given, when you check the computer and see that I have a 5DOLLAR +UpReward sitting there staring you in the face, don’t act like I’m the one who’s talking jibberish. Even the manager couldn’t figure it out. And when you can’t even log onto the site in order to view your own coupons, then the system is irrecoverably broken. «People’s coupons disappear all the time» No. It’s you. Like I told the cashier, losing a $ 5 coupon is like taking a 5 dollar bill, wadding it up and throwing it away like trash. I don’t have money to throw away. Not even $ 5. I had to call the Customer Service number to have someone tell me that the coupon on my card was $ 5 off your next $ 5+ purchase. The same information available to the cashier and I have to talk to someone in a call center in another state to find this out? Broken. Add to this the fact that I’ve had to go to three different stores to find Exfoliating Facial Sponges that are listed on the website but never to be found in store. And when I do find them, it costs a third more? It’s become too much of a hassle to shop here. I’m done with you Rite Aid.

I moved to this Rite Aide because my small wonderful pharmacy was closed and absorbed by it. The pharmacy at this location is actually great — helpful, friendly and they have gone out of their way to help me. That having been said, I couldn’t stand this place if it wasn’t for the pharmacy. I will say nothing else besides I was once verbally harassed as I shopped, and when I turned around to face the dirtbag, I saw that ITWASANEMPLOYEE. When I spoke to the manager, he could not have taken me less seriously. He actually had to suppress a smirk. Enough said.

Aside from the store always looking like someone just trashed it, the lines are horrendous. The workers are slow and don’t really care. My beef is mainly with the Pharmacy, though — It stinks. There is one«pharmacist» with cornrowed hair that moves at the speed of molasses. Ifshe is at the register you will be in line for a minimum of 30 minutes. The Pharmacists always ask for your phone number but they never call you when there is a problem — and there are a lot of problems. Mostly, they don’t have medicine in stock and you have to wait for it. Even if you go to one of the consultation windows, they won’t help you for at least 20 minutes — everything there is always 20 minutes. «I can look that up in about 20 minutes». «I can’t get to that for about 20 minutes» When they screwed up one of my prescriptions, it took them 15 minutes to fix it. They just don’t care. That attitude permeates the entire store. Nobody cares and it looks like it. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE. If you can get your medicine somewhere else then do that. STAYAWAYFROMHERE.

You will be on line forever, things are everywhere. though you will find what your looking for most of the time it will most likely be a bit pricey. –There part of Care-mark CVS so you can take your medication and drop it in the back with the pharmacist. They supposedly deliver which is good for those old folks, but i have never seen any of the pharmacist ever walk out from the back. One of the pharmacist lady is very helpful; but the pharmacist guy who is somewhat bald WOW is the worst… Now the pharmacist Assistants are horrible i wouldn’t say all of them are cause two or three are nice & helpful. but the young ones always seem lost, and don’t know what they doing most of the time.

This location knows how to put the«G» in ghetto. The store always looks like it was ransacked a couple of hours before you walked in and they’re just getting stuff put away. Products are often tumbling from the shelves, or visiting other products who should be their upstairs neighbors. Most things in the store – particularly and oddly the items near front of the store, look ragged, old and like they are waiting for someone to come and put them in storage or find them a shelf. Service at the pharmacy counter is slow. There is one young girl in particular, named Ashleigh, who honestly couldn’t give a damn whether your prescription is ready or not – even if you were told it would be ready two hours before you arrived. On one occasion, after picking up my prescription, I arrived home and realized they had given me someone else’s medication. Saving grace: one of the pharmacists on duty – Raji Dondapati. She is awesome! She treats the place like a small town drug store. She knows everyone’s name and greets you personally. She knows what meds you are taking. She asks how your various family members are doing. If you regularly take a hard to get medication, she will order it in advance so it’s in stock when your refill is due. Don’t get excited – she is where the good news at Rite Aid ends. Stacks of «specials»(aka, pork rinds, Cheer, potato chips, DVDs) are piled like a tower in the middle of the floor by the cashier area, creating a crazy snake-like line of the scores of people who want to pay for their stuff. This means you have to navigate a slalom course when you enter the store if you want to go anywhere other than the makeup and moisturizer aisle which is directly in line with the entrance. Smart/frequent shoppers know to take this route as a detour to the rest of the store. Checking out is a good time to read email on your phone, or make a few posts on Facebook. You will be there for a while. Even if 15 people are on line there will be two people(at best) ringing them up. Expect to wait about 10 minutes to pay for your Tylenol. The cashiers are unhappy, and less than friendly no matter how pleasant you are to them. The beleaguered manager, aka, Mr Personality, is often ringing up people at the front. If he could care less about his job, the store would literally crumble to the ground and suffocate him out of sheer pity. Why do I go there? Convenience. Nothing more. Plus, they have great store brand versions of products that will save you a lot of cash. If I am in the mood, I will walk a few blocks over to the Duane Reade on W. 181st. Not a particularly stellar establishment either, but I’m not depressed by the time I walk out and I can check out in under three minutes.

Lines are usually long, service slow… I always feel like products are over priced. However, I usually find everything I’m looking for.
