Petal Design Studio

Petal did the flowers for my wedding at The NoMad this summer. Corrie is incredible. I met with her one day to walk the flower district and despite the fact that I couldn’t articulate what I wanted, I knew she got it. I left her that day trusting her to come up with the exact flowers and design that would make the room feel the way I envisioned. She was easy to work with, the design was gorgeous and the flowers were dumbfoundingly perfect.

I found Petal Design through Unilocal,fell in love with the arrangements I saw on their website (so elegant! so beautiful!), and emailed Corrie about flowers for a friend’s birthday. It was a small order and I’m overseas, but she went out of her way to create something wonderful and to make the transaction smooth for me.
I mean, she attempted delivery to 3 separate addresses (my friend’s office had moved, so they tried to deliver to the new address… but turns out she’d taken the day off, so Corrie messaged me to request her home address) before the flowers were successfully delivered — and she was incredibly gracious about it. I probably would have been much less gracious in her position.
My friend loved the flowers. You should definitely use Petal Design as your go-​to florist in Manhattan :) I know I will.

I just used Corrie and Ryan for my November wedding and could not have been happier. When it came to finding a florist, I was very intimidated. I kept researching on wedding forums and the New York wedding guide, and it seemed so many florists wouldn’t get out of bed without an outrageous budget. A friend of mine mentioned they knew Ryan personally, and that were working on another friend’s wedding, so I reached out. I met with Corrie, who was friendly, attentive, and very respectful of our budget. My needs weren’t too far out-​I needed centerpieces and some flowers for myself and the family as I didn’t have a bridal party or need any other floral décor. I also am not hyper opinionated about flowers, so I suppose as a bride with a budget I’m a pretty easy «make it red and seasonal without looking like Christmas or Thanksgiving» kind of girl. I just answered some questions and then said, do your thing, I trust you. Corrie came up with a lovely proposal that was thought out and unique. I was pleasantly surprised to have so much thought and care go into it, and I felt like I was treated no differently than a bride with 5 times my budget. My bouquet was a beautiful arrangement of velvety winter florals, that included red charm peonies, tea roses, amaryllis, and fiddlehead ferns. Our centerpieces were low and in gold vessels, and were made up of wintry red florals as well, including roses, amaryllis, dianthus, rose hips, and greens. Of course she created a beautiful sample a week or two before the wedding, and I just said, yep, looks good! They made the whole thing very easy and stress free, and our guests kept commenting on how «fancy» and elegant the whole event felt-​our flowers were a big part of that. Our red centerpieces in gold vessels looked beautiful against our turquoise linens with all the votive candles and ballroom chairs. Festive, classy, and unique. I was very happy and would highly recommend. I loved my bouquet so much that we are drying it and putting it in a small pewter vase to go with some of our antique furniture/​art work. Petal Design Studio is a class act all the way.

Corrie and her team are fantastic at what they do. Petal design studio provided the flowers for my recent wedding in NYC and we were blown away. Corrie was so creative with her choices for our 3 different center pieces but maintained the elegance I had wanted with all white flowers. Our guests are still raving about the flowers at our wedding and it’s all thanks to Corrie (who by the way couldn’t be a more pleasant or lovely person to work with).

The florists at Petal Design Studio are both extremely talented and very nice. Corrente and Ryan listened to my ideas and feedback and were able to create something that was both what I wanted and much more beautiful than what I could have imagined. They’re particularly good at working with color, and they were willing and able to work within my (admittedly small) budget without it looking like we had a small flower budget. They were a pleasure to work with, and I was so happy with the centerpieces and bouquets. I highly recommend them.

Incredibly classy and unique flowers for our wedding this weekend. The centerpieces were out of this world. They also did an amazing job on the overall event design… from the linens to the seating cards. Consummate professionals… truly as good as it gets.
