ABSOLUTE SCAM. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT. I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered from this place. I feel like a moron for not reading the reviews. If only zero or negative numbers were available. This company should not be in the flower delivery business.

If I could give zero stars I would.
My boyfriend ordered flowers, chocolates, and a teddy bear to be delivered to me on Valentine’s Day in Ridgewood since I’m in town for fashion week. Received nothing. He was still charged! It’s been impossible getting a hold of them… So unprofessional. Take your business and hard earned money elsewhere.

I wish I checked Unilocal reviews before I placed an order with this incompetent shop. I don’t know how they stay in business. I ordered a flower delivery for my sister-in-law’s engagement party. I received a payment confirmation with an order number. When the delivery didn’t come, I called the shop the next day and the woman couldn’t even find my order. She said she wanted to investigate and call me back in 30 min. She didn’t even call in 1 hour. When I called back to see if she found the order, she started blaming someone else who works there. Still no order was found. I asked her if she could deliver today, but she said she’s closing now. She was going to close and not even call me back! Some customer service! And a scam! They charge money and don’t do the service! It’s a total scam and they have to be sued for defrauding so many people!

Overall, DO NOT USE THIS PLACE! IT’S A SCAM. Worst service & worst flowers you can order. If you’re smart, you’re better off buying flowers at the bodega and hand delivering them.
My boyfriend ordered flowers from here for me on Valentine’s Day. He ordered them days before; filled out the website’s form to reach out to them to confirm the delivery; tried calling to confirm the order. He received a response by email saying that I would be receive the flowers at 11:00am on Valentine’s Day.
The flowers did NOT arrive until 11:00pm AT NIGHT as my roommates confirmed that the doorbell rang when they were already in bed. The next morning my roommates found the flowers left outside our door! People had picked at the flowers and they did not look like anything you’d pay $ 100 for!

I called Manhattan Flower Delivery this morning at 8:30 am to order a bouquet for my girlfriend’s birthday. The woman was helpful at the time of order and ASSURED me the flowers would be delivered to her workplace in the morning.
1 pm — still hadn’t heard from my girlfriend, so I called the company to get a status update. They told me they were «on the truck».
3 pm — still no reaction from my girlfriend. I called the company again. Same response.
4 pm — My patience has run out so I called again and was given the same excuse by Crystal, a rude employee, after she put me on hold for 10 mins. I eventually had to ruin the surprise and explain to my girlfriend that I ordered flowers that she would not be receiving due to the incompetence of this company.
This company is horrible. I would highly recommend you avoid any dealings with them. They’re helpful only when initially placing your order. Otherwise, they’re rude, unhelpful and completely unreliable.

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. Seriously, you are better off picking dandelions in Central Park. I am absolutely heartbroken that I didn’t read these reviews first.
I ordered two deliveries at the same time: one was a surprise Valentine’s Day bouquet for a dear friend who’s going through chemo, and the other was for another friend on her birthday (a few days later). The first friend never got the flowers, never got a phone call, and never got a note. NOTHING. I didn’t get any sort of email or call saying that they’d tried to deliver. I called but the phone just rang and rang. I contacted them via their website but got no response. I just KNEW that the second bouquet was going to be a bust too, and I was right.
The second friend (birthday gal) got a phone call from a rude man on her birthday asking if she was home, but when she said she’d be home in an hour OR he could leave the flowers with the neighbor, he said no and that he would call tomorrow. She gave him two numbers, but tomorrow came and went and nobody contacted her again.
The hilarious thing to me is that they claim to «go above and beyond» on their website, and they completely failed. I finally talked to a girl today who said that they would refund my money, but I’m feeling skeptical. We shall see.

It’s 4pm the day after Valentine’s Day and the roses I’d ordered two days before Valentine’s Day, to be delivered on Valentine’s Day, finally arrived. Half dead and stems broken, mind you.
When I tried to call yesterday, their customer service number was busy. All day long. I emailed them yesterday asking where my order was. Last night I got an email apologizing for the missed delivery, but was promised they’d arrive first thing in the morning. And then they were delivered late this afternoon. Calling today was no good either. Phone was busy again. But then I did get their phone to ring! And ring… and ring… and ring…
If you buy flowers from this place, you are asking for disappointment.

I ordered same-​day delivery flowers for my wife in the morning. The website all but promised that they’d be delivered on that very same day by 5pm.
At 4:58pm I had not yet heard from my wife about the beautiful flowers so I called the company to see if it was being delivered. They said that their computer showed that I had asked for the flowers to be delivered TOMORROW. I told them that’s not what I ordered, and that’s not what my email confirmation said. They said that there was nothing that they could do. Nothing. Completely left me hanging.
So in a nutshell, DO NOT USE THIS PLACE! THEY SIMPLY WILL NOT DELIVER YOUR FLOWERS!

Update: The flowers were eventually delivered — 2 days late. No call, no explanation. So it’s unclear whether the company is running some kind of scam or just incompetent. In either case, you should still stay away unless you like companies you can never get in touch with and you don’t care what day the flowers arrive.
FRAUD — SCAM — STAY AWAY!
This is a totally fraudulent outfit. I ordered 2 sets of flowers for delivery on Valentine’s day. The flowers were never delivered, I received no call or reply to my e-​mails inquiring about the orders and the telephone number provided just rings and rings without even so much as a voicemail or answering machine pickup. When I dug a little deeper, I found that the E. 69^th St. address provided doesn’t even exist! There is no such address and no flower shops anywhere nearby. Of course, my credit card was charged and the name of the merchant on the statement is 1−800-FLOWERS. I am sure these guys have nothing to do with 1−800-FLOWERS and are only calling themselves that for billing purposes in order to appear legitimate and confuse the situation. Don’t be fooled. Steer clear.
