J. P. Morgan Securities doesn’t want the middle class investors as clients based on a recent telephone call to them. I called to execute a trade from my account being that the funds and shares have been sitting there for awhile. I confirmed the trade with the advisor and then received a confirmation call to confirm my order. The person confirming the trade reviewed my account and asked do I have any additional assets because he wouldn’t be doing me any justice by keeping my account active unless there was at least $ 20K in my account. Maybe he should read Forbes or other publications to know that we are in a recession and what little I have in my account is what I have. I have never been more insulted in all my life. My account has since been liquidated with them and I will be taking my small assets and moving on to a bank or brokerage firm that can relate with the middle class. Thanks for nothing Chase.
