The new name of the pizza joint is «Two-N-A-Can». I guess that it was only a matter of time before the real owners of «In N Out Pizza» complained about copyright infringement, so they changed their name to «Two-N-A-Can». Under that moniker they advertise 2 slices of pizza plus a can of soda or a bottle of water for $ 2.75. I had a hard time finding the place on yahoo because you still have the name«In N Out Pizza» on your ten reviews. I walked by a couple of times and was intrigued by the price, the pizza and the number of people eating pizza on the street. I was hungry one day and decided to try a slice for a buck. And it really isn’t bad, not the best pizza I’ve ever had, but can you really expect that for a buck. But it definitely hit the spot. It had more cheese and sauce on it than I expected. It is not crispy; it is soft and puffy, which makes it fold nicely while eating it. And it is not as greasy as I expected it to be. I will definitely give it another try. For $ 1 you can’t go wrong.

for the record, their pizza isnt half bad. esp for $ 1 each, i cant complain about eating a $ 2 lunch that doesnt taste crappy. what i will complain about is the staff there. i go in ordering 2 mushroom slices. the guy behind the counter promptly looks me up and down, winks his eyes, and mutters something along the lines of a pickup. obviously he didnt hear my order, as he asks again, «what would you like?». «Two mushroom slices please.» i repeat. after a few long awkward moments of more winking, more pickups and comments, i pay and rush outta there while my dignity is still intact. When i’m out, i take a peek at my pizza… two plain slices. you know sir, if you had just stopped giving me the eye spaz and focused on what was coming out of my mouth, YOUMAYHAVEGOTTENMYORDERRIGHT!!! end of story. a cheap lunch wasnt worth my annoyance. young ladies beware.

This place is certainly well above average for a dollar pizza slice place. The big difference I noticed with this one is that there is actually a good amount of cheese, sauce, and flavor(a bit more grease as well). Most dollar slice places are very stingy with the cheese and sauce. If it matters to you, the crust here is soft and puffy though. I prefer crispy crusts but it’s still fine either way for me. I will definitely be back if I am in the area for a quick and cheap bite.

After sampling their pizza on 2 occasions, here are the findings from our study… D is correct when he says the slice in general is pretty good in terms of its sauce, cheese, and oil. However, I felt the crust and underside lacked crisp as it was very poofy and powdery. As a result, it was not enjoyable to me. But I will bump it up by one star for having beef patties at a bargain price of $ 1.50. Summary: It’s an OK slice. Better than 2 Bros I would say…

4 Stars and IMHO(in my humble opinion) the pizza is better than 2 Bro’s pizza. What I mean is that it is tastier, with a more balanced cheese flavor, and a nice and crispy crust. The pizza is just overall very good. One dollar for a slice. Two slices and a can of soda for 2.75, Sausage or pepperoni slices for 2, Sausage and Pepper rolls are 1.75. Everything is down right insanely cheap. What can i say? I love cheap food. But i really love tasty cheap food. TL;DR: Tasty and very Cheap. It is my new $ 1 pizza place!

Wow, I’m a fan. For $ 1, I really didn’t expect much, but compared to other crappy Midtown deli pizzas, much to my delight, it’s actually better. Thin, crispy crust, hot, melted cheese, tangy, but a bit salty sauce… you can’t go wrong. And to top it off, they even have $ 1.50 beef patties. A decent slice and a beef patty for $ 2.50 in Midtown? What??? Sign me up! It’s a tiny place, but the line moves very fast. They even have 3 small tables and 7 seats up in front.

Pizza is a quick and easy thing for lunch. And on a day I found myself rushing to my volunteer assignment without having had lunch that’s what I was looking for. I knew there were $ 1 pizza slices in the area but this was not the location I knew of. However it was the quickest one ever. I ordered 2 plain slices. The guy behind the counter took the next order then beckoned to me. with a paper bag. I said«Is that mine» He replied in the affirmative. How is that for fast food. There was room in the place to eat at the front table which coincidentally had the spice shakers, including oregano, red pepper flakes and garlic powder. I applied a generous amount of red pepper flakes(I like it spicy!) some garlic powder and oregano. Since there a was a seat there I ate my pizza there instead of walking with it. The pizza was very hot, especially considering the time it took between placing my order and getting it. It was nice and cheesy but not too cheesy. The crust was definitely firm enough, but not too thick either.

This place used to be Tasti D– Lite. They have plain pizza for 1.00, everything else is around 1.50+. But for me plain pizza is fine. It’s alot closer than the other pizza places and a VERY small place. It has like 2 seats and is very easy to miss. The crust is nice and soft and the pizza is ok for the price. Will definitely go here again since it’s cheap and right near my job.

In-N-Out!!! In New York City?!? No, not the famous West Coast burger joint. The logo can get a bit confusing as it is somewhat a bite-off of its West Coast brethren, but rather than burgers this place serves pizza. There is no secret menu here. Just $ 1 slices of pizza, some specialty slices, a stromboli wheel-looking kind of thing, and drinks. There is also a generic special(that all $ 1 pizza joints seem to be running), 2 slices of pizza and a can of soda or water for $ 2.75. When you first walk into the establishment, you’re going to encounter a burst of heat, even with the door wide open. I can’t imagine how this place is going to fare during the summer months, but on a day averaging 60º, I wanted to get In-N-Out as quick as possible. I grabbed 2 plain slices for $ 1 each(no tax) and made my way out. There is a dispenser each of garlic powder, chili flakes, oregano, salt, and pepper beside the cashier, and napkin dispensers along the left wall. If you’re so brave as to stay in the sweltering humidity, you can sit at one of the 3 – 4 tables. The plain slices here rank low on the totem pole of $ 1 slices. Although the cheese and tomato sauce was evenly spread out, the tomato sauce was drab as if it were unseasoned, and there just didn’t seem to be enough of the ooey cheesy goodness. But for some reason, I found the slices to be slightly oily. As soon as I folded the slice in half and tilted it sideways, drips of oil would pour off. And now that comes to my other thought. The crust was soft enough to bend without breaking apart from being overcooked, but it tastes a bit like cardboard, dry and bland. When you bite into it, all I could think of was dust. I didn’t exactly seem to enjoy my slices and my friend was just as well utterly disappointed. Although the $ 1 slices do make it psychologically taste better when you’re on a tight budget, it does not stand up to the competition such as 2 Bros. Pizza and 99 Cents Fresh Pizza. That being said, I’d make the trek to 2 Bros. for a much better $ 1 slice of pizza.

Dodd-Frank act got ya feeling down? Chase away those bonus blues with a $ 1 slice at the aptly named«In-N-Out”* pizza, which just opened in Midtown. The $ 1 slice here actually wasn’t that bad, in a synthetic cheese, cardboard crust, Chef Boyardee sauce sort of way. Maybe I’ll upgrade to the $ 2 bacon slice once I get my 2012 numbers. — — — — — — — * It went out just as quickly as it went in. You can never be too mature for poop jokes.
