Quirky and more British than Britain.
I liked it, a lot.
I’d been looking for a specific vintage watch for sometime, online primarily — and that’s when this business came up, as the owner is a keen collector of vintage military Rolex and Tudor submariner watches.
Incredibly, they were about a 10 min stroll from my front door, so I took a wander up, spoke to Harry in the morning about the particular watch I saw, it was a bit more than I’d budgeted for (story of my life.) so I went away and had a wee think, only to return later that day and purchase it as it was immaculate and more importantly, there in front of my eyes… no watch website (no matter how good) can truly give you the sense of the true condition or patina of a vintage watch, this one is stunning (I would say that though…)
Do a nice line in a very British, Mod, Ska look in clothes too although I was more focused on the watch to be honest, but I’ll be back for sure as I really liked the feel, service and style of this little Greenwich Village outfit.

Every shoe/​boot is a limited edition so once they run outta that style, they create new styles.

This spot is mad exclusive. And it feels that way.

I have walked by this store several times and it is always empty, but today I decided to check it out. I had a cup of coffee from Jack’s next door and before entering the store I guzzled the coffee down and secured the lid. I went in and was looking at the clothes which to me looked like pseudo Ralph Lauren and Barbour wannabe. Don’t get me wrong it looked fine, I have just seen it all before. A bitchy grey haired man said «watch your coffee, you could spill it on the clothes», I responded and said «there is next to nothing left in the cup and I secured the lid, the only way I am going to spill this coffee is if I trip, and fall on top of the clothing rack and the coffee cup bursts open». He replied «it could happen». Yeah, the chances of that happening are about as high as this store having something original.

Best Menswear in NYC, in my opinion .
Similar to Union Made. A little more high, end, as it has more expensive items but so well worth the Trip.
So well merchandised a+++

Super nice & intimate store. Nice décor, and excellent products. Beautiful shirts, pants, jackets, shoes by Tricker’s done exclusively for Grahame, as well as stock Tricker’s shoes. Also very cool conveyor belt, as the store is an ex-​dry cleaner.

Great boutique clothing shop in the West Village. They have a great selection of shirts made in right here in New York (their own brand). Plus other vintage Levis and such. Also have a large selection of boots that you wont find in most stores (Trickers, Oak Street, Whites). The staff clearly loves talking boots and clothing. These guys really know their stuff. Its a really great experience. I have been back a bunch of times already and will continue to shop here.

Amazing store — full of hand picked treasures waiting to be discovered.
A small but wonderful collection of footwear (e.g. White’s, Oak Street Boot Company, Tricker’s) is complemented by an ever changing selection of clothing that seems to change every few weeks. Vintage watches are picked by someone who clearly knows what he’s doing (Grahame loves watches I’m told)
Also try their made in new york button downs, amazing quality and details, you will start to wonder why you’re paying the same for lower-​quality foreign made shirts after spending some time in these.
I’ve already made multiple trips and purchases here and look forward to going back!

What a find. Gem of a shop with two cool dudes inside who were friendly, funny, and very helpful.
Excellent shirts, but I was tempted by a pair of Redwings. Must go back for some of the clothes. Just perfect.

Holy cr*p! This place has been around for months and right next to Jack’s coffee but no one has reviewed it?
I bought a pair of gloves here today and, as I told the shopkeep, I’m out of work now but as soon as I return to work, a good portion of my income will be devoted to them. I also noted not to stereotype the english but that this place is like a cooler Paul Smith store. And I own a number of Paul Smith shirts and nothing against them but this place is a bit better and funkier.
Definitely worth checking out — on top of their reasonable prices, they make their clothing here. And not just ‘here’ like ‘USA’ here but ‘here’ as in ‘Long Island City here’. F*cking awesome.
