This guy is an overpriced DICKHEAD. I shouldve known this by his qwerky vocals and odd demeanor. Never hire a lawyer that lurks around the courthouse. Real lawyers hav people come to them IN AN OFFICE. they don’t hunt down clients in courtroom hallways. I hired him for my husband in desperation. We exchanged monies in his dirtyass car parked 2 blocks from manhattan court.4 days later he wanted a couple of more thousand dollars and he had did nothing yet!.. longstoryshort I fired him n wanted my retainer fee back. I went to his office and we had a heated argument. He unprofessionally told me to shutup and that I had «daddy issues».This man knew me all of an hour !.. I started to call my «daddy» to kick his ass. he finally agreed to giv me some money back after i threatened to make a complaint with the NY BAR ASSOCIATION. he only gave me $ 700 back after I gav him $ 2000…i took what i could his broke ass then postdated a check and told me not to cash it for 2 days… what type of bullshit. yeah a broke retarded unprofessional lawyer!

I hired this attorney after reading the Unilocal reviews, mainly because a friend referred me and I trust my friend’s opinion over anything else. Any way I was rather grateful and appreciative of Mr. Smith. He was extremely thorough with his advisement, and even though he may not have been available at the drop of a hat, he always got back to me. And then got me the outcome not only what I wanted, but even better than what I expected.
I would hire him again, and refer him to others.

This guy’s an overpriced joke! I had a court date and the guy did NOT show up because he overslept due to having an argument with his ex the night before. My court date was rescheduled and then my husband and I had to pick him up from Nagel and 205^th Street and drive him to Central Islip. He was very unprofessional. I thought he had no respect for the judge since he didn’t show up and then he spoke over him when he did. He originally offered to give me some of my money back for not showing up the initial time but never did. The other attorneys in his office are perverts and act like they’ve never seen a woman before in their lives. This is another idiot I wish I did NOT have to give a star to.
